Black Knight scabious just keeps giving the more I harvest the more flowers come. And loving the different ways I can extract colours. Watch this space! Also recovering from rabbit nibble are the Pescaria Indigo, the Hopi sunflowers which the mice have discovered! Suffering woad and very tall Golden rod. The heat and dry wind is disastrous!

My exhibition tells the story of my journey from historical links, my g g g grandfather was a silk weaver and Jill Goodwin a relative, to my time with India Flint in Brittany and now Colour Naturally where I make dyes and botanical prints freshly from my Dye Garden. Maeldune Heritage Centre in Maldon until June 23rd. I'd love to meet you there!
