Another week, another DH race, and some more podiums for Context Gravity racing!

Pearce cycles Round 1 at Redwood Park was a great event; The track was an intense rollercoaster of fast berms and jumps, with the occasional flat pedal section thrown in. As usual at Pearce, we had smooth uplifts, friendly event staff, and a lovely chilled out vibe all weekend. These races are fun!

The dirt was at its grippiest for 1st race runs where almost all riders laid down their fastest times of the weekend. Sadly the threat of showers turned to constant rain late in the day for second runs, and for many riders the first run times would have to stand.

Congratulations to Harry Linton on another Senior category win for Context Gravity Racing, putting down a scorching 2:01.0 that would have landed him in 2nd in Elite! locked in 2nd place in Juniors with a 2:03.2, with Brandon Hall barely behind in 4th with a 2:04.0. Context owner Chris returned to racing after 10 years with a 10th place in Masters 30+.

Thanks to everybody who came over to the tent and had a look at some of the clothing on the way past, or grabbed yourself a hoodie to take home. If there was a prize for 'most overkill pits' we would have won it, we got a lot of compliments on our DangerDanger designed base for the weekend.

Thanks for having us! Can't wait for round 2.

𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀 for Context Gravity Racing at National Downhill Series Round 2, Antur Stiniog!

A first National Senior category win for , and the Expert category win for . Both riders qualified first and the backed it up when it mattered.

Fantastic rides also for with a brilliant 3rd place in Expert, with 9th in Expert, and who finished 8th in a stacked Junior category laying down the fastest time of any of our Context team riders.

Such a great weekend of racing. It has so far been a pleasure to be in and around the BDS pits who have welcomed our new team and made us feel right at home already.

The team kit we selected for this race was the 3-piece Raceline combination, in Sandstone/Black. All available online via our 'Race kits' section, should you like to grab one of your own.

Pearce Cycles DH round 1 next week, and then it's up to Scotland for Glencoe RD3.

Practise day photo dump from Round 2 of the BDS Downhill with the Context Gravity Racing Team.

A nice day on the hill with a fast track where carrying speed is key, with not a ton of line choice options. Special guest Stanley the cockapoo chilling out in our pits for most of the day bringing the waggy tail and supportive barks.

The team were shredding, all putting down fast times and all towards the top end of their categories in timed training. Harry Linton seeded 1st place in Senior 🔥

The first ever race for '𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙍𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜' at the epic Rhyd-Y-Felin! What an epic weekend; the track, weather, and racing fully delivered. It was the first outing for our new pits setup and the design did look awesome in the finish area alongside some established company - you couldn't miss us.

For Sunday's race runs the riders had some FRESH race kit to run - matching White LS Jerseys with Indigo Enduro Pants. This kit combo looked so clean, we could see them coming from a mile away.

Our 3 Expert Riders battled it out. laid down the pace with the fastest seeding run, and then went even quicker in finals to land in 4th Place on the podium. also locked down the final podium spot with an excellent 5th! @ rode well all weekend but sadly dropped chains in his seeding and race runs.

In Junior Open, both and .hall suffered mechanicals in their seeding runs, followed by crashes in race runs. Both riders were pushing the pace all weekend and riding well, some good results to come!

In Senior Category, came into his first ever DH National race expecting to be on the pace and delivered. A 2:41.7 proved to be blisteringly fast time that got 2nd in category, and would have even landed him on the podium in Expert class.

Thanks to everyone who came over and had a look at our kits and to chat. Glad to finally be able to give something back to the sport that has shown so much support to Context so far!

Overall an epic weekend! See you all at Antur Stiniog in 2 weeks.

The details in this design are absolutely insane, and there's even a bigfoot hidden amongst the kickers, berms, cabins and forests.

Fresh race kits for the team for Sunday's race runs! White LS jersey matched with Indigo Enduro Pants this time.

White was a brave choice given the current sticky and slippery state of the track, but the riders are loving it up there and having a blast.
