Bringewood is a classic venue for the Pearce series, and Round 3 delivered a very mixed bag of conditions. In typical British summertime fashion, heavy rain leading up the race had left a soaking wet racetrack to contend with on Saturday. Visibility was the massive issue as the rain continued to fall; but once it stopped things got even worse with the mud getting much stickier, making the course even harder to ride.
Kit-wise, it was an ideal chance to run the ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐

Race day brought a dry, sunny morning and the track improved to it's best condition for race runs. Unfortunately a lightning warning in the area caused the race to have to be called off mid-way through second race runs.
put down another excellent time of 2:10 in his single race run, and despite going off track took 2nd in Senior category to extend his lead of the series! Context Ridewear boss Chris Holloway finished 13th overall in Masters 30+, managing to get two timed runs in before the lightning spoiled the party for the later categories.
Another great Pearce cycles event, and we had a great weekend racing and showing off what our Context kit could do in the less than ideal conditions! Whether anybody could see it under the mud is another question...
