AUL — 3 Years 🎉

Three years ago, I started An Uninspirational Life as a creative outlet — just an idea and a belief that I could build something for the people around me.

Since then, it’s grown into three lines:
An Uninspirational Life, UNINSPIRATIONAL (Sportswear), and our minimal line AUL.
Different expressions. Same foundation.

The name was always meant to be sarcastic — some people take it literally, but that’s the beauty of it. It means something different to everyone. And that’s the point.

No investors.
No big marketing budgets.
No celebrities.
No paid endorsements.

Just consistency. Community. Learning as we go.
And still independent.

We started with one hoodie.
Now people are wearing AUL worldwide — from Manchester 🇬🇧 to Christchurch 🇳🇿.
Some have even tattooed the logo on themselves (still blows my mind).

Three years in.
Still learning. Still building.
And we’re only just getting started.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported, shared, bought, reposted, or believed in it.

2025 has been yet another rollercoaster of a year - understatement of the year! But we’re still going 💪

Sometimes I do these year recaps and set goals for the next year. I usually write them in my notes and keep them to myself. But I also feel like if you don’t do them, you have nothing to work towards, and you’re setting yourself up for failure.

So my goals for 2026 / New Year’s resolutions are:

• Get back in shape 😂 and get back down to a size M tee 👊
• Get back into running again (currently have a torn meniscus in my knee) once I’ve completed rehab
• Start saying NO more to people and things I don’t actually want to do
• Prioritise sleep more and stop running on constant burnout

To travel way more! I did start in 2023, but life gets in the way when you’re busy making other plans, right? I want to visit as many places across Europe as possible. I’ve already got a trip planned for February - 3 countries in 5 days - so that’ll be the first one to kick things off.

Another goal is to actually start posting… because I never do 🤣 and hopefully tick a few things off my bucket list.

Finally, for my brand: work on making better quality content 😎
A lot of new things are coming too - but you’ll have to wait for that one 🤫

I share a lot, but never really about my personal life. This one feels worth it though. Here’s some photos from summer with r kid after finally reuniting for the first time in 15 years. Mad how it felt like no time had passed at all - probably down to the late-night FaceTimes over the years, calling each other at stupid times just to stay connected across the world.

We spent the day exactly how we should’ve: sharing a cigar, drinking whiskey, reminiscing on everything we’ve missed, laughing about the old days, and talking about what’s next in life. It was one of those moments that hits you in the chest a bit… a reminder of how strong family bonds stay, even when life takes you in completely different directions.

And now he’ll be reppin my brand all the way over in New Zealand 🇳🇿😎
