Our Album of the Month for October ‘26 is from Dublin indie scene titans, Basht. Their much-awaited debut album ‘Poor Advice’ is an unapologetically topical and sincere piece of work, with songs that take on everything from politics to personal relationships. Arguably the band are at their best on those more tender moments, like the title track, which deals with alcohol and drug abuse in Ireland atop melancholy, almost gothic guitars, or opening track “Dive” which recalls 90s Radiohead at their eeriest. A great album from a band making their mark. What’s your favourite track? Basht.

For Winter ‘26, we introduce the Pulsar print, referencing classic Manchester music iconography and taken from the radio waves of a pulsar; a dying star.

A distinct, instantly recognisable design that’s present across a heavyweight puffer, lightweight jacket, logo t-shirts and winter accessories. Explore the range via the link in our bio.

Pretty Green’s Winter ’26 collection takes inspiration from the underground music scene and private members’ clubs of 1990s Manchester.

Drawing on the style and cultural energy of the period, alongside Pretty Green’s own early Black Label heritage, the collection is defined by bold prints, knitwear, heavyweight outerwear and refined leather and suede footwear.

A dark, atmospheric colour palette is contrasted with vibrant flashes of colour, delivering a contemporary take on Manchester’s culture that balances heritage and rebellion. Explore the collection now via the link in our bio.

London-based four-piece Keo arrive with their debut album ‘Put A Smile On For Me’, which is our Album of the Month for September 2026.
With no shortage of rock’n’roll rawness, Keo burst out of the gate with grungey guitars, deafening drums and huge, cathartic choruses sitting alongside some surprisingly tender moments. Drawing heavily on 90s alt-rock, Keo give those influences a fresh edge through deeply personal and individual songwriting and a DIY production style. There’s a real sense of emotional weight running throughout the record, whether they’re tearing things up on short but sweet rocker “That’s Me” or letting a brooding atmosphere build on “Fly”.
An album that wears its heart firmly on its sleeve. What’s your favourite track? Keo

Following our last sold-out event at King Tut’s back in February, we’re coming back to Glasgow to host a Pretty Green x Tenement Trail Pre-Party at the Wah Wah Hut on Friday 9th October.

We’re bringing together 3 of some of the most exciting bands on this year’s Tenement Trail lineup: Fatale, a Glasgow five-piece who’ve been making waves on the local scene with their grungy take on power-pop, Little Grandad, the London band whose Americana-tinged rock and huge vocal harmonies have captivated audiences, and Ferguson Hi Fi, the exciting new garage-pop project of songwriter Pete Ferguson (formerly of Wuh Oh).

We’ll also have some exclusive giveaways on the night so keep your eyes peeled across our socials over the coming weeks too!

Tickets will be available this Friday @ 10am via the link in our bio.

It’s 35 years of ‘Screamadelica’ today - released in 1991, Primal Scream’s genre-bending masterpiece smashed together rock, psychedelia, house, gospel and dance culture to create something that still sounds gloriously timeless.

1991 as a whole was an extraordinary year for music. The beginning of the 90s saw Nirvana bring grunge to the masses with their hit record ‘Nevermind’; My Bloody Valentine built an impenetrable wall of sound with the shoegaze landmark ‘Loveless’; and Massive Attack laid the foundations of trip-hop with their debut ‘Blue Lines’; among plenty other incredible albums.

What’s your favourite 1991 record?
