Sadly I feel I need to make set guidelines for my business for everyone. Over the course of me taking customer orders I've had 4 people not pay for items made. Thankfully two of these orders I've managed to sell on afterwards. The other 2 i haven't.
The cost doesn't just effect me, it's my family. It's not just the end cost but the purchase cost beforehand which would pay for a weeks shopping or my daughters dance classes for a month. Factoring in the time it takes to make these items too, I've spent many evenings up until the early hours completing orders with a short turn around, this also takes away from my family.
So from now on I won't be making orders without payment beforehand. Slots will still be booked, which as of now are solid for 2 months, please do try and book early to make sure I have enough time to order yarn and actually make the item.
