We were recently asked to visit Fern Ward, a mental health facility for the elderly within Mersey Care, who were experiencing problems with their safety J tracks. The gliders were failing and the fabric curtains were falling down, causing privacy and dignity issues for the patients.

One of our experienced account managers surveyed the ward and offered our solution: install our patented disposable window curtains on either new Yewdale Kestrel magnetic window tracks or Goelst load release window tracks.

The client assessed both options with an internal risk assessment before asking us to proceed with the removal of the J track, installation of new Goelst load release window tracks and fitting of our disposable window curtains.

One of our experienced two-man installation teams quickly completed the works across a two-day period, ensuring minimal disruption was caused to staff, environment and, most importantly, patients.

A North West hospital called us with a desperate need for disposable curtains this afternoon. The order arrived at 2pm today and the curtains were delivered before 3pm, ensuring patients can maintain their privacy and dignity throughout the weekend.

During the pandemic we were doing all we could to provide same day deliveries where possible and we have continued this operation.
