An early call time, multiple locations and a lot of styling… Elsa approached every look with a quiet confidence that felt beyond her years. She took direction effortlessly, embraced every idea we threw her way.

Alignment ✨🥹 that’s what we would call it.

Earlier this year, Ireland Fashion Week and the Scottish Government invited us to their Two Shores supper series. It’s where we met Saoirse, and from the first conversation it felt strangely familiar.

The more we talked, the more we realised just how much we all had in common. Olivia and Saoirse share homelands. As do her husband Hector and I. We all had the same appreciation for where we’d come from, the people around us and the stories that shaped us. There were just many more similarities for it to feel like we’d only met that evening.

Before the shoot was ever a conversation, we already knew we’d found kindred spirits.

Looking back now, it feels like Kin found exactly the people it was always meant to.

Kismet, as Saoirse would say. 🤍

When we first walked through Maurice Orr’s studio at Limepark, one particular series stood out.

Not because of its colours (although they somehow felt completely at home alongside kin), but because of the story behind it. Maurice told us it was inspired by the sound of cicadas in the Australian outback.

The Sixth Language has always been rooted in music. Long before we had a brand, we had playlists (our sixth love language!). Every collection has a soundtrack. So hearing an artist speak about sound as something worth painting felt strangely familiar.

For Kaitlyn, it carried another layer too. Australia has become a second home through her partner and his family, making that collection feel unexpectedly personal.

Maurice says his studio space at Limepark is “the most wonderful place on the planet”. It’s surrounded by the same landscape that inspires so much of his work. Many of those paintings capture the North Coast, including Murlough Bay, where we spent the second half of our shoot. Places he describes as well-kept secrets, and places Olivia is incredibly lucky to call home.

Having Maurice become part of this campaign was a joy. Not just because his work beautifully complemented the collection, but because his way of seeing the world quietly echoes our own.

Thank you, Maurice, for trusting us with your work, for embracing the organised chaos of a fashion campaign, and for making kin feel all the richer because of it.
