Over the past few months, we’ve seen more stories of bridal boutiques closing unexpectedly, and our hearts genuinely go out to every bride caught up in such an emotional and uncertain situation. Finding your wedding dress should be one of the most exciting parts of planning your wedding, not something that leaves you feeling anxious or questioning whether your gown will ever arrive.

We wanted to take a moment to explain how we do things at Prestige Bridal Studio, not because there’s only one right way to run a business, but because we believe brides deserve complete transparency and reassurance when they’re placing their trust in us.

We get asked this all the time, so here is your practical guide to prepping for your bridal fitting.

First, n**e seamless underwear is your best friend. It disappears under almost every fabric and gives you the truest vision of how the gown will look.

Second, please keep makeup minimal and skip the fake tan. Our sample gowns are delicate, and we want to keep them pristine for every bride who tries them on.

Finally, bring an open mind. You might walk in wanting a fitted lace style and leave with a structural A-line.
