After a very busy prom season, working really hard altering lots of dresses for prom 2026, it is so lovely to get a good review like this one which makes all the hard work worth while.

I'd just like to say a big 'thank you' to Rachel for this kind review, It means so much 😊 I had a lot of fun working on this one. It was such a gorgeous vintage dress and needed work to fit properly...all worth it though as our prom girl Lily looked stunning 😍 💗

If anyone has their prom in 2027, please follow us and keep us in mind, as you may need your dress altering with us.

Any new alterations or repairs welcome ... please bring them down to The Stables at Carr Bank on a Tues, 12 till 4pm or Thurs, 1 till 5pm.

A big thank you to all customers who have had items altered with us over the last few months...it has been busy, especially during prom season, but it's been enjoyable too 😊

We really appreciate all of you 🩷

Just to let you know, opening hours will be a bit different over the school summer holidays, so please check below before popping in ⬇️ We will be taking a little break as well as doing work behind the scenes, ready and raring to get back into it by 25th August! 😄

If you have any alterations you need doing now, we are still open for the next two weeks on a Tues and Thurs afternoon...be sure to bring items in early though if you need them back before the break!
