Today, Katie said YES to the dress, and we couldn’t be happier for her! 🤍

Katie joined us today with her two beautiful daughters, her lovely mum, and her mother-in-law-to-be. It was such a special appointment, made even more meaningful because we’ve been part of her journey for a while now. We first met Katie last year when her gorgeous daughter found her dream prom dress with us, and then again at a local wedding fair. Seeing her back in the boutique today was so lovely.

We were Katie’s very first bridal appointment, and she trusted us to help her find the one for her wedding next year at Chapel House Estate. With such a stunning venue, we knew we had to find a dress just as breathtaking—and wow, did we!

Katie looked absolutely sensational in every gown she tried on. She arrived with a particular style in mind, but the dress she fell in love with was something she never expected. The moment she put it on, we all knew… it was the one. What a vision you are, Katie! ✨

Congratulations to our gorgeous bride-to-be, Sophie. 💍🤍

Today was such a special moment. I’ve known Sophie for a very, very long time—fun fact, she actually worked at the very first job I ever had!

Watching her journey has been so lovely. From meeting her hubby-to-be, to welcoming two beautiful babies, and now planning her wedding… it’s been such a joy to see. We couldn’t be happier for her.

Sophie is getting married next May at the gorgeous St Peter’s Church before celebrating with family and friends at a beautiful pavilion in Broadstairs.

She was joined today by her mum, her sister, and her beautiful little girl, making it an emotional and unforgettable Yes to the Dress moment. ✨

✨ A little milestone for Novo today… ✨

This morning, our brand new sign went up, and seeing Bridal & Prom above our door was such an emotional moment for us. 💕

Many people ask where the name Novo came from. It’s actually made from the names of my two daughters, Nova and Ocean. From the very beginning, I wanted to build something that one day could be passed on to my girls—a business created with love, passion, and family at its heart.

Opening your own business is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do, but it’s also one of the most rewarding.

Bridal has always been my passion, but it was my beautiful daughter Ocean who said, “Mum, we should do prom too!” Seeing Bridal & Prom on our new sign is a reminder of how far we’ve come together.

Growing a small business in today’s world isn’t always easy, but every appointment, every recommendation, every bride, every prom queen, and every kind word has helped us continue to grow while staying true to who we are.

At Novo, we’ve always believed in keeping things personal. Every appointment is private, relaxed, and all about making each person who walks through our doors feel special. That’s something we’ll never change.

A huge thank you to Premier Signs and Delderfield Signs Limited for creating and fitting our beautiful new sign. And from the bottom of my heart, thank you to my family, friends, our amazing brides, our gorgeous prom queens, and everyone who has supported Novo over the years.
