NEW WORK IN PROGRESS
So I have been feeling like i have lost my creativity a bit lately but the last couple of days i forced myself to just draw and not put pressure on myself to come up with a new design, just going with the flow and see what happens. Now i am full of ideas and can’t get them on paper fast enough, i need to keep up the momentum and enjoy the process.

OLIVE BRANCH
I love this print, it is simple but holds its own whether on a cushion or lampshade. Todays prints are for Heat Packs so watch out for the finished product over the next few days. AVAILABLE to order now for posting out end of next week.

BUTTERFLY
I’m guessing this little creature must have hatched inside the studio. Desperately flapping its wings and trying to get out the window, it seemed to calm down a bit as it rested on my hand before i released it outside, don’t know what it’s fate will be as it’s very cold outside but i also don’t think it would have appreciated being trapped in a house.

STOCKING UP
Marking out more heat packs, lavender bags and eye pillows to go out next week. It might be cold outside but the studio is flooded with sunlight a perfect day for printing.

Todays post is not about work because basically i have not had the chance to get into the studio, but i did go outside in the frost this morning and took some pics to make up for it 😆❄️

I will be running Introduction to Screen Printing Workshops and also Lampshade Making Workshops in September and October in Market Rasen.
These workshops are wonderful to do on your own or with friends or family, they are relaxing and fun, you will learn a new skill which is both therapeutic to do and also very exciting to reveal your first print or your completed lampshade.
Why not do both, print your fabric in one workshop and and turn it into a lampshade in the other.
