Famous for its superpower infused leopard and lightning bolt loungewear and vibrant designs, Scamp & Dude is a British purpose led brand with a huge heart. Although Scamp & Dude started off life as a kid’s brand, the womenswear division has seen unprecedented growth and now makes up 80% of the collectio

n and has been worn by the likes of Liv Tyler, Fearne Cotton, Billie Piper, Laura Whitmore and Emma Willis. Jo Tutchener-Sharp launched Scamp & Dude in 2016 after being separated from her children during a lengthy stay in hospital undergoing brain surgery. It was this brush with death, and missing her children, that made Jo determined to give back, and create a brand that helps children feel more secure when apart from their loved ones. Infused with kindness and superpowers, Scamp & Dude is much more than just a fashion brand; for each Superhero Sleep Buddy sold, another is donated to a child who has lost a parent or is seriously ill themselves. Likewise, for the Super Scarves (fronted by Billie Piper), for every scarf sold, another is donated to a woman with cancer or a mother of a child with cancer. So far Scamp & Dude has donated 10,000 Super Scarves, over 5,000 Superhero Sleep Buddies and over 7,000 items of clothing to women and families who really need a Superhero to have their back. The brands slogan ‘a Superhero has my back’ tells kids that someone is watching over them and the ‘Superpower Button’ features on each garment to give the wearer a burst of superpowers. Scamp & Dude has collaborated with some global brands including Superga, Cowshed and Elemis and has received multiple awards since its creation, celebrating not just the brand’s stand out designs, but also Jo’s business acumen, including ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ by HELLO magazine and most recently ‘Female Business Owner of the year 2019’ by The British Business Awards.

What a day ⚡️

Collecting my OBE from His Majesty The King at Windsor Castle was an absolute dream. We even shared a few laughs, as you can probably tell! 🥰

Having my parents, my husband and my eldest son there to watch me receive my OBE made the day even more special. (My youngest was at his taster day for his new school, which he absolutely didn’t want to miss!)

The King asked me about our Super Scarf mission, and I told him we’ve now donated more than 93,000 Super Scarves to women starting chemotherapy, along with £4.4 million worth of product and cash donations. He was so warm, friendly and genuinely interested in what we’re doing at Scamp & Dude. It was a conversation I’ll never forget.

This OBE belongs to all of us. It’s only possible because of our incredible Scamp & Dude community, who have supported our mission over the past 10 years to help people through some of life’s toughest moments.

So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single person who has bought a Super Scarf, a Superhero Sleep Buddy, or any of our charity products. Every purchase has helped us reach someone who needed it.
