Good advice I stole from elsewhere

Living with a hidden disability can be strange. Sometimes it can feel as though other people forget about your brain injury because they can’t see the challenges you are facing.

There may be times in your recovery journey that you feel pressure to “recover faster” and this pressure can come from your family, friends, work colleagues or even yourself.

Get back to work. Be more sociable. Get back to the way life was before.

If you’re feeling this way, take a step back and check in with yourself.

Instead of trying to live up to other people’s expectations, focus on prioritising your own wellbeing. Recovery is a journey, so be kind to yourself along the way.

I'm so angry and completely mismayed as to why a staff member in a dress shop would "fat shame" a 16 year old child. I'm not naming this shop (from tiny little town nearby not Melton Mowbray) on this occasion. I will however not hesitate to do so should l ever hear anything so absolutely disgusting in the future ! You've been warned !!!!

First sewing for my Granddaughter, due in October so I thought I'd get started. I'm so not use to sewing tiny clothes. It is fun and making me feel all squishy inside. ☺️
