Two and a half years on and it’s still lovely to see our Well Cool children’s PJs on the shelves at the Royal Hospital for Children & Young People in Edinburgh.

A special thank you to Karen Falconer, the fab shop manager who has supported us from the outset, and Roslyn Neely, CEO of Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity, who took a chance on Well Cool.

Made from 100% cotton, our children’s PJs are designed to provide discreet access for examination and medical care, unclipping over IV lines and medical devices to make things a little easier for children, families and healthcare teams.

Our expanding Daywear collection is officially in production!🧡 This is our 2nd sample run following customer feedback.

Building on our nightwear range, our new T-shirts and Recovery Trousers are designed to support comfort, independence and recovery in hospital and at home.
Pictured here in our Recovery clothing, this range offers discreet access for mastectomy, stoma and wound care and are designed to make dressing and moving around during recovery a little easier.

With more healthcare now being delivered in the community and at home, we're continuing to develop patient wear that can support people throughout their care journey.

Because good patient wear should support care while protecting dignity. 🧡

One of the quieter moments of running Well Cool Clothing is visiting Great Ormond Street Hospital to restock our children's patient wear.

Recently, Jenny and I visited to restock our pyjamas and also brought along Buddy's new sidekick, Sparkle, wearing our popular Unicorn print to join him on our display rack. Buddy (named by one of our customers) has become a firm favourite over the last year or so, with many visitors asking if they can buy him! 🧸🦄

Our children's adaptive clothing range co-designed with a great set of mums, launches later this year!

💚 Fun fact: We've been proud to have our children's patient wear stocked at Great Ormond Street Hospital since 2017, and it still feels just as special every visit.

It was a real pleasure to spend the morning at Buckinghamshire New University as part of their Launchpad programme recently.

I was invited to share WellCool's journey, including some of the challenges of bringing new products to market.

One of the highlights for me was chatting with some of the students about their exciting businesses. There was so much creativity and enthusiasm in the room.

It was also lovely to meet fellow speakers Mark Schmull and Peter Ashiagbor, and to hear about their own business journey

A huge thank you to Francesca Martin and the team for the invitation, and to everyone involved in creating such a valuable programme.
Wishing all the students every success as they continue their entrepreneurial journeys. It was a pleasure meeting you all.

A Friday update from WellCare (our new name for our adult range) 💚

Our men’s adaptive T-shirts have now sold out, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported the range.

New stock is already in production, and we’re excited to be adding accessible shorts for people living with limb loss, along with adaptive trousers to help support patients as they transition into daywear.

As a trained nurse, I’ve seen first-hand how the right clothing can make a real difference to patients, carers and clinical teams. That’s why we continue to design clothing that supports comfort, dignity and independence.

Delighted to welcome Patch, our new mascot for our children's range at WellCool.

He was designed by Marcus Mason-Williams, a talented artist with autism and founder of CoolArt2021. We've loved collaborating with Marcus to bring Patch to life.

Our 100% cotton Patch pyjamas designed for medical care will be in the hospital shops Great Ormond Street Hospital and Charityand Royal Childrens Hospital soon. He'll also be appearing on some of our new children's adaptive clothing later this year.

A huge thank you to Marcus for sharing his creativity with us.
