✨ 5 YEARS OF LITTLE OLYMPIA ✨
I genuinely can’t believe it’s been 5 whole years since I started this little page! 🥹
I started back in 2021 while on maternity leave, just wanting something to keep my mind occupied. It began as Olympia Bows, selling little bows that, looking back, were definitely not my best work 😂 But thankfully, some strangers on the internet believed in me and encouraged me to keep going. So I worked harder, perfected my craft and slowly started adding birthday hats, badges and more — eventually becoming Olympia Bits & Bows!
Fast forward to 2023 and, with the support of my amazing Instagram girls, I took another leap and bought a cheap embroidery machine to start making children’s clothing. I had absolutely NO idea what I was doing 😂 I spent a full 10-hour day battling with that machine until I finally got it to stitch for more than a few minutes without breaking!
Those first orders definitely weren’t perfect either, but people trusted me to create something unique for their little ones. Just three months later, I’d outgrown that first machine and upgraded again!
By Christmas 2023, I’d finally found my feet with embroidery and decided to launch adults’ clothing too, saying goodbye to the bows for good. And so, in January 2024, Little Olympia was born! 🤍
I still hadn’t quite found my niche… until the end of 2025, after my own wedding, when I looked at fluffy bridal cardigans and thought: “I could definitely do that!” 😂
2025 was also the year Little Olympia took another huge step forward, and I upgraded to an industrial embroidery machine, allowing me to produce the highest quality embroidery possible. 🥹
And I’m SO glad I took that leap.
Since then, Little Olympia has completely blown up on Facebook, my Etsy is finally getting sales, and I’m happier than ever with what I do. 🥹
I still can’t believe people choose me to create something for such an important day in their lives. Every new request, every excited message and every returning customer means more than you probably realise.
From making little bows on maternity leave to now creating pieces for brides all over the UK… what a journey. 🥹🤍
Thank you to every single person who has supported, ordered, shared, commented, recommended or simply cheered me on over the last 5 years.
You’ve helped turn a little hobby into something I genuinely love. Here’s to the next 5! 🥂✨
