Why throw those beautiful baby clothes away or hide them in the attic when you can turn them into a lovely, keepsake that can be treasured forever. Since having my very own little girl, I have realised just how quickly babies grow and how soon those treasured moments pass by. I couldn't bear packing up all her beautiful clothes every couple of months, only for them to sit up in the attic. So one d

ay I decided to bring them down and create something that could hold all those memories and be seen on a daily basis. Hopefully she'll grow to love the sentiment they hold. I then started to make them for family and friends and still enjoy it so now here I am. I have used several patterns so far, some of which are by Original Funky Friends Factory. So far I have completed bears, rabbits, giraffes, lions and puppies and monkeys (photos to follow). However, if there is a specific animal you would like, please message me and I will see what I can do. Keepsakes are priced at £30 with personalisation £5 extra. (smaller items can be made on request)

Based on age 0-3 months clothes -
Bear, Puppy, Monkey, Peacock - 6-8 items
Rabbit - 7-9 items
Giraffe and Lion - 8-10 items

Many items of clothing/blankets can be used to create the animal of your choice, however this does not include anything knitted, as it will unravel once cut. Any unused items will be returned with completed keepsake. Every keepsake is individually designed and handmade by me and so they cannot be CE accredited (part of that process would involve setting fire to them!) so I must stress, they are a keepsake NOT a toy. These unique handmade keepsakes are a beautiful way to remember a treasured time or mark a special occasion. There are still a few spaces available on my embroidery workshops, and I’d love for you to join us.

🧵 Saturday 4th July

🌙 6:30pm–9:30pm – The Potter’s Hand, Ashton

Whether you’re a complete beginner or you’ve stitched before, these workshops are all about slowing down, being creative and enjoying the process.

Embroidery is so much more than making something beautiful. Taking time to stitch can help you:

✨ Reduce stress and anxiety
✨ Improve focus and mindfulness
✨ Boost confidence by learning a new skill
✨ Connect with like-minded people in a relaxed, welcoming space

On Thursday, I was lucky enough to be involved in a staff wellbeing and development day at Tameside College. It is such a lovely day which they organise every year for their staff and I am so thrilled to have been a part of it.

Thank you so much to all the lovely ladies who came to join me. There was chatter, laughter and lots of concentration - all so determined to create a great piece.

I loved it and hope to be involved again in the future ✨

Nothing beats hearing “I love your workshops!”

Seriously, every kind word, every repeat customer, every recommendation truly means the world to me.

Workshops are in full swing this year at both the and and I look forward to seeing you all. I can’t wait to chat in person, catch up on new projects, hug familiar faces and meet new ones while you all come along to get your embroidery fix.

Thinking about trying something new this month?

Embroidery is a wonderful way to slow down, learn a creative skill and make time for yourself. My workshops are designed to be welcoming, relaxed and suitable for beginners, with all materials provided.

Come along, meet fellow makers and leave with new skills, confidence and a project you’ve created yourself.

To help to cater to all, I am running the Butterfly Garden workshop at two different venues and these will be the only chance to stitch this design this year! Whether you’re a night owl or an early bird, I’ve got you covered.
