Remembering Piper Alpha – 6 July 1988
Today we pause to remember the 167 men who lost their lives in the Piper Alpha disaster — one of the North Sea’s darkest days.
Their memory lives on, not only in the hearts of those who knew them, but across the entire offshore and energy community. The tragedy changed the industry forever, leading to vital improvements in safety standards that continue to protect lives today.
As time passes, it’s more important than ever that we don’t forget. We honour those who were lost by continuing to prioritise safety, supporting one another, and ensuring lessons learned are never lost.
Today, we remember them and hold in our thoughts all those still affected by this devastating event.

We are delighted to sponsor 'Tartan & Turmoil: The Angus Jacobite Story', a major new exhibition running at Montrose Museum and Art Gallery from 17 July to 23 November.
This compelling exhibition explores the intrigue, loyalty, and rebellion that defined Angus’s involvement in the Jacobite cause. From Montrose’s turbulent reputation as a hub of secret landings, through Arbroath, Brechin, and Forfar, and finally into the Angus Glens after Culloden, the story is told through remarkable artefacts, weapons, letters, and everyday objects.

Another great example of tailored solutions for the Energy sector
Part of a bulk order of 1,500 Pipe End Covers which will be heading to our customer in Aberdeen.
Manufactured in-house in our workshop in Montrose, these covers help keep tubing joints secure and prevent debris from escaping during transport to shore.
