About yesterday….

The perfect day for SS27 🌸

Twirling cotton dresses, breezy antique French lace, a little picnic, chickens, wildflowers, blankets on the long grass, lemonade, little cakes, lots of biscuits, ladybirds, butterflies, piggy backs, trips to see the horses, sandals, trestle tables , the perfect meadow in the Herefordshire countryside. We had it all…

It was a long, exhausting day but our amazing photographers & & our support sister and our sweet little models worked their socks off for us.

I think none of us are capable of much today after this epic photoshoot but we’re have very happy memories 💕

Summer on a rail… ☀️

We’ve been prepping our SS27 shoot all week. It was meant to happen today in a beautiful meadow not far from home — but it’s simply too hot for our little models, so our whole team has juggled everything to move it to Monday, when it should be a little cooler.

As often as we can we travel to India to meet the people who make your clothes.

It’s one of our favourite parts of what we do — watching our designs come to life, seeing the care that goes into each stitch, and spending time with the makers we’ve worked with for years now. It’s always a joy and we feel so lucky to be able to do this 💕

Tomorrow we fly to see our Makers in India (excited). We can’t wait to share what we find 💕

Spring 27 samples are waiting for us there, AW27 ideas are growing on the pin board and we’ve spent this week designing pretty florals.

This is the part of the job we love so much — between seasons, vintage fabrics folded, studio organised, samples tidy on their rails, a little launch ready for Summer when we’re back and lots of design ideas on the go.
