Here's some food for thought - a quote from one of my email subscriptions, 🪡sewing related of course 😁 but it's something I quite often tell my customers when they come for alterations because they worry when they've had to go up a size

⭐️I’m not here for perfection, I’m here for realness. I’m here to advocate to chuck sizing out of the window and opt for something that fits my body and makes me feel good". ⭐️

I myself recently bought some RTW, something I haven't done for years because I could never find anything that fit my body shape so I make all my own clothes and guess what..they still didn't fit but I was shocked at how different the sizing is for various items in the same size, so we shouldn't worry about what size we have to buy, the important thing is what fits and makes us feel good 💕

**update** for new and existing customers due to my impending holiday I cannot take on any more alterations or I may be taking the sewing machine with me 😂, sorry for any inconvenience but I will be back to normal working from 15th October

Lovely feedback from a customer, such a pleasure to work with this lady making her special day perfect 💖I did shoulder and plunge neckline alterations, also turning a too long dress into a fishtail. I also altered 3 bridesmaid dresses, reducing the strap length and taking in the bodices
