🧵 Dorset Button Workshop with Anona Scrimshaw

📍 Jackson Room, Bloomfield Centre, Narberth
⏰ 10am–4pm

Join us for a full day learning to make beautiful hand‑stitched Dorset buttons — perfect for garments, jewellery, decorations, and more. Anona will guide us through making both small and larger buttons. You will have enough material provided by Anona to make two dorset buttons and two angel Christmas decorations.

💷 Pembrokeshire Guild Members £20 | Non‑members £25
🍰 Tea, coffee & cake provided — please bring your own mug and lunch.

🧰 Please bring:
• Scissors
• Embroidery or crochet threads
• Sewing needles

Anona will also have beading needles and ring packs available (£1.50 each).

✨ Beginners Weaving Workshop! ✨

Following the fab success of our Beginners Spinning Workshop, the Pembrokeshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers will be holding a two‑day Beginners Weaving Workshop on Saturday 7th February and Saturday 21st February, 10:00–16:00 at Bloomfield Community Centre, Narberth. 🧶🌿

This workshop is a hands‑on introduction to weaving using rigid heddle looms. 🪡💫

🧵 What to expect

• Day 1: Learn how to warp up your loom. If time allows, you’ll start weaving your first piece.
• Between sessions: Practise at home so you can build confidence at your own pace. ✨
• Day 2: Continue weaving, troubleshoot, and explore techniques with support from experienced Guild members. 🤝🧵

🧶 Equipment & materials

• Bring your own rigid heddle loom or hire one from the Guild (a small deposit is required).
• Yarns will be available to use, but you’re very welcome to bring your own if you prefer. 🧶🐑
