A proud day for National Weaving.
We were honoured to welcome HRH The Princess Royal, President of the UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT), to National Weaving in Pembrokeshire.
As a family-owned business with nearly 40 years of experience, we were delighted to showcase our expertise in woven labels, ribbons and branding products, combining craftsmanship with modern technology and sustainable manufacturing.
During the visit, Her Royal Highness met owners Jake and Caroline Astley, along with their niece Jessica, who demonstrated textile design. The tour included our Weaving Room, home to our original woven name tapes, and the Broadloom Department, where our designer labels are produced.
The visit concluded with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque on our new loom, celebrating the skill, innovation and dedication of our team.
We're incredibly proud to represent the strength of the UK's textile industry and grateful for UKFT's continued support in championing British manufacturing.
