Gnoll catch up tomorrow!

Let’s aim for a walk but if it’s too rainy, let’s head straight in for a cuppa while the kids play in Treetops soft play.

As we are not affiliated with the Gnoll in any way, we sadly can’t offer this for free, but if you would like to come and are struggling, please message and I will sort something out for you if I can!

Well what a fantastic time we had recently at Cwmgrach Party in the Park! Love these pics from our very own Adele at McBride Imagery

It was truly beautiful to see the community coming together for a cwtch in so many special ways and we were honoured to be a small part of it.

Big thanks to Niamh and team putting on another cracking event and having us a second year running. Here’s to many more! It’s been a privilege to see your heart for the community come alive in such a real way. What an encouragement. Keep going!

We’ve had a few pop up cwtches recently at community events while our building is closed. Extensive work is being done and I know many of you are eager to meet together again for a Big Cwtch. Rest assured, when the building is open we will be putting on a fantastic family gathering for you all. We can’t wait to have you all back in the ol’ village.

In the meantime, we’ve been able to serve families in small ways. Bundles of clothes delivered here and there, encouragements to keep going, hospital trips and lots of coffee!

That’s all grand but really the heart of everything is Jesus. Sound weird? That’s ok! He is the Big Cwtch that holds us all in His hands. If you want to come on a Sunday, let us know, and we will be there for you. 4-6pm in the main church.

WEATHER UPDATE: meeting at Gnoll Cafe 10:30 for a brew and bewb meet up instead. All welcome.

‘Nurture, Nourish and Natter’ Picnic Tues 4th August for Breastfeeding Awareness Week 💕

Whether you’re preg, boobin’, pumpin’, tandem feeding, thinking of weaning, doing a combo or just needing some mam pals, come along tomorrow, wherever you are in your journey.

Meeting outside the GNOLL CAFE at 10:30, we will start with a stroll round the pond before having a nice sit down and a bite to eat under the trees near the park by the cafe.

Please note, however you are feeding your baby, you are most definitely welcome. Families with older kiddos also welcome. This is just an opportunity for those wanting to find out more about breastfeeding or get support from our peer supporters and encouragement from fellow m**s, or even for those of you who want to feed more out and about but don’t want to do it alone. We’ve got your back!

Bring your bubs, bring a picnic, and let’s have a lush time together celebrating what these b***s can do!

Schedule permitting, we hope to have some special guests so watch this space!

We had a lovely ol’ time yesterday, pramin’. Our first ‘M**s, Prams n’ Jams’ was lush.

From praise-pumping classics like ‘Give me Oil in my Lamp’ to dance floor anthems like ‘Reach for the Stars’ we sang loudly and unapologetically around the pond in the Gnoll. It brought a spring in our steps and a smile to passers by. We were even told we could be heard across the pond. 😆

Big shout out to April for coming up with the idea and to everyone who was mad enough to participate. I’d love to do that again soon.

Next Tuesday, we were due to have a Big Cwtch meet up, however our building is still having a lot of repair work done. Fear not! We will instead be meeting for a ‘Nurture, Nourish and Natter’ picnic up the Gnoll in to mark Breastfeeding Awareness Month.

However you feed your little one, you are more than welcome! I’ll post details about it soon.

Don’t forget if you are in need of baby and toddler clothes come find our stall on Saturday at Cwmgwrach Welfare Park from 12pm.

Join us for another Cwtch on the Move this Saturday at Cwmgwrach Party in the Park!

We are chuffed to be invited back to this years event following the success of last years. Can’t believe how fast the time has gone!

Our wonderful volunteer Niamh and her team have been working on putting this community event on for months and what a cracking, family-friendly day it is going to be.

We will be there with our pop up boutique stall of beautiful baby and toddler items. All free for anyone who would like them!

See you Saturday from midday, Cwmgwrach Welfare Park.

Fancy doing something a bit different this Tuesday?

We had a lush Teddy Bears picnic last week soooooo…

This week, come and join us nutcases as we put some rhythm into our Tuesday walk and talks up the Gnoll.

Introducing: M**s, Prams, n’ Jams
(Jam sarnies optional)

Think of it like a song and rhyme sesh on the move! Singing your kids classics like good ol’ Wheels on the Bus one minute and the big wheels that keep on turning from Tina Turner’s Proud Mary the next. Might throw a few assembly bangers in as well cos He really does have the whole world in His hands.

Do you have to sing? Nahhhh. Just come for a laugh to this ‘procession of positivity’, if you will, ending in a nice cuppa as per usual.

Whether you’re pushing a pram, holding a toddler’s hand, or just coming along for a fresh-air walk and a catch-up, come exactly as you are. It’s completely free, completely batty, but full of life!
