Historic buildings deserve a future, not just a past.

When myself and Ann bought Barlaston Hall earlier this year, we knew we were becoming custodians of something very special.

At the heart of the estate sits St John's Church at Barlaston Hall – a beautiful Grade II listed church dating back to the 12th century that has been part of the local community for centuries.

I'm delighted to share that we're now giving this remarkable building a new lease of life as a premier wedding and events venue.

Our aim is simple: protect its incredible heritage while ensuring it remains a vibrant place where new memories can be made for generations to come.

We've already invested in improving access with a dedicated car park and pathway, and we're planning further enhancements, including an orangery that will make the venue even more versatile for weddings, celebrations and corporate events.

I'm also pleased to welcome Tamsin Parker as our Events Director. Having worked with Tamsin since last year, I've seen first-hand her professionalism, creativity and commitment. I have every confidence that, with her leading the venue on our behalf, St John's will go from strength to strength. We share a vision of creating something truly special while respecting everything that makes the church so unique.

It's fantastic to see enquiries already coming in, with booking enquiries stretching as far ahead as 2029.

This is just the beginning, and I'm excited to see St John's bought to life, creating treasured memories for future generations to come.

These lovely ladies were married earlier this summer in gorgeous Rhodes 🇬🇷 They both looked incredible in their Sincerity Bridal and Essense of Australia lace and tulle bridal gowns and we just LOVE these photos 💕
