Just a reminder that we are back on Wednesday, from 10.30 till 12.30 at Heaton Baptist Church NE6 5HN.
It would be great to see you. Come on down and see what we have.
Everything we have we offer free to you. You maybe reconciled to having a single child, or you may have a brood.
At Growbaby we understand that raising a single child or more than one can be emotionally, physically, mentally draining. So if we can be of help then feel free to call in and see us. If it's just for a space to gather your thoughts, a chat, or have a look at what we can offer then call in.
We provide clothing and accessories from 0-7 yrs of age. If we can help you through the early years of parenting then we will have fulfilled some of our core priorities.

We are back this Wednesday at 10.30 till 12.30 at Heaton Baptist Church NE6 5HN. It would be great to see you.

If you are new to our page, and you are wondering what Growbaby is, then sit back and read.We provide free good quality, new, pre loved, pre-owned clothes, toys and baby equipment for children aged 0-7 years, regardless of income or background. So if you would like to call in and see what we have, then come on down.

If you would like to have a chat with other parents, have a hot drink, then come on down, check us out .If we don't have what you want we can point you to a place where they might have what you are looking for.

Just a reminder please we are not taking in clothing under the age of 2 years, due to your storage capacity at present

At Growbaby we understand the tiredness that raising a family can bring. The broken nights, we all get them sometimes. Living with children can be quite different from how it was BC, before child, We can almost lose sight of who we were. We meet people who have no idea who we were, and what we did BC.They see us just as a mother, father, carer of a small child. We have to learn how to navigate this time in our life. We need to learn to settle into our parent or childcare role which can be challenging.

At Growbaby we want to help as much as we can in a practical way. So if we can help with clothing or equipment, or you just want a chat , then come and see us

We can all do with a little wisdom to guide us through this challenging period of life. So how about this bit of Jewish wisdom, the Lord will guide you continually, give you water when you are thirsty, restore your strength and make you like a well watered garden. Not bad eh. That's from the Bible.
Maybe we need the challenge to make new friends, so why not invite someone to go for a coffee, or a walk.
Maybe you could offer someone who is struggling with their new identity of being a parent?. So what advice could you give about being a woman or a man in this new role?

Anyway it would be lovely to see you next Wednesday at Growbaby .

And please remember that we are only taking in clothing from 2years and above.

Growbaby is back on Wednesday from 10.30 till 12.30 at Heaton Baptist Church NE6 5HN
So if you want to pop in then please feel free to do so
We offer free to all good quality pre-loved pre-owned and sometimes new clothes, toys and equipment from 0-7 yrs of age.

At present we have reached our storage capacity for clothing, so no clothing donations please.

However if you have any equipment or toys then we would ve happy to receive them.

If you would like to call in then come and check us out, it would be great to see you.if you want to call in for a drink, a catch up, a breather in a busy day or just to see what we have on offer then do call in.It would be lovely to see you.
And please, no clothes donations this time.

Just a reminder that Growbaby is back this coming Wednesday from 10.30 till 12.30 at Heaton Baptist Church NE6 5HN.

It would be great to see you. If you don't know about us, then come on down and see what we are about. We offer pre-loved, pre-owned and sometimes new clothing, toys and accessories from 0-7 yrs of age. We offer everything we have to you free of charge.

At present we are not taking in donations, so please note.

At Growbaby we understand the challenge of raising a family today. We understand that reading some parenting guides can offer us a relentless posivitivity which can be hard to be around and sometimes accept . Especially if we are dealing with a run of toddler temper tantrums.

I've just spent a day at a busy, National Trust property in Derbyshire, where they offered a quiet sensory room, just yo chill and regain some balance for the next part of rhe visit.

I thought that is a little like Growbaby can be to us as parents . A place to just gather our thought, gain some help, maybe some free clothing, a hot drink, before setting on the challenge of raising our family again.

If this appeals to you, then pop in and see us.
Sometimes we do also need to recognise how fat we have come. So what's something you've got better at over time?

Other times we need to set ourselves a goal. So, why not keep a diary for a week.
Other times we need some old wisdom to guide us forward . Something from ancient near Easter wisdom says, "that those who sow in tears will reap in joy" it comes from the Bible, Old Testament

So if you think Growbaby could be of help to you or a friend, then pop kn down rhis coming Wednesday. It would be great to see you.

If you are new here then a reminder that we offer free to you baby clothes, toys and accessories for children aged 0-7 years old. Regardless of income or background.
We offer pre-loved, pre-owned and sometimes new items.
I was reading an interview with footballer Rio Ferdinand whose wife died in 2015 from breast cancer, leaving him to raise three children. He has since remarried. He said, "parenting is not plain sailing. It's the most rewarding job, but it's a job, in the world. But some people on Instagram make it look.like it's meant to be the most trouble-free thing in life, when it really isn't " How right he is.

At Growbaby we understand the pressures of raising a family, so if we can help in anyway, then call in and see us. We have all been there through the early years of parenting.

If you want to check out what we have, then come along, if you want to chat with other parents or us, then come along, if you want a hot drink, then come along.

We all need to find those who can encourage us in our parenting.

Sometimes we also need to think about what parents should be talking about, but don't.
So what one thing do you think parents should be talking about but don't?

We also need to find wisdom in parenting, some old wisdom from an ancient society found in the Bible says, ' the Lord is near to those who called on him' Psalm 145v. 18 . Maybe that is something to think about. If you would like a Bible, then we would be pleased to give you one.

Hi there Growbaby followers,
Sorry that it's been a few weeks since we last has a session, but the School.holidays have played havoc with our plans. However we are back this coming Wednesday, May 6th from 10.30 till 12.30 at Heaton Baptist Church NE6 5HN. It would be great to see youg then.

OK if your new to this Growbaby posting let me explain. Growbaby offers pre-loved, pre-owned and at times new clothes, and accessories for children from 0-7 yrs of age. We offer what we have free, regardless of income or background of your family. We realise that raising a family today is a challenge, so if we can help releave some of the financial issues, we are happy to do so. So why not call in and see ehat we have.

We also realise that raising a family is a team effort the need if assistance can be invaluable. As social beings we thrive on community, of family, grandparents, and friends to help us out.
We also need people around us to give us encouragement, and cheer us on.

If Growbaby can be part of a network to help you, then do feel free to call in and see us
Maybe we just need to think through what kind of dad, mum we would like to be to our children. That can be challenging given our culture today.

At Growbaby we have discovered some old wisdom from an old book called the Bible, which says in Psalm 121 my help comes from the Lord. This has helped the Growbaby team here through tough times. I might help you.

We also recognise how challenging life can be, and sometimes we need to repair friendships in our support system. So maybe we need to face the possibility that there is someone we need to forgive.

Life also needs a little light side to it , so here's a joke. What do Alexander the Grest and Winnie the Pooh have in common? Answer, same middle name. Yeah I know, lame.

We are back this coming Wednesday from 10.30 till 12.30 at Heaton Baptist NE6 5HN, it would be great to see you, and no this is not an April fool day posting. We are rmeeting on April 1st.
If your new to Growbaby we offer pre-loved, pre-owned, and some new baby clothes and equipment from 0-7 years of age. Everything we offer is free to you.

At Growbaby we work as a team, and we understand that we all rhrive better when we have a network around us. So while we at Growbaby may not ge your primary network, we can certainly be your secondary one in helping you with the cost of living in raising your family.

It can be good to have folk around us who know us, encourage us, and even challenge us.

So here's a physical challenge to think about. What is the one thing that helps you rest?

Here's a social challenge to consider, try a new food. It is easy to get stuck in a rut, both physically and socially in raising a family. We often need to find ways to stop us feeling isolated.

At Growbaby you can have a chat with other parents as you browse what we have, enjoy a hot drink, have a chat with our team members if you like . It would be great to see you on Wednesday .
