Our poor poor vintage friend Rach at the Yesterday Society has been hit by some awfully bad luck. Please give her your support and swing by Flea Circus this weekend, where she has a MINT selection of all sorts of funky gorgeous vintage (I myself have lost count of how many badges I’ve bought from her pitch… anyone who has seen my leather jacket knows I loves me a badge!). Clothes, bags, earrings, badges, patches, sunnies, the works!
Fingers crossed the flooding damage isn’t too bad and her lush Grainger Market shop is open and bustling again soon! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I’ve done my best and fingers crossed saved all the stock but unfortunately due to flood damage I won’t be able to open tomorrow in . Awful news given the current climate and on a busy weekend for GNR. Pop to , or online if you can and support us cheers Rach

I (Jess) am super proud to have been selected by to be an ambassador for her latest campaign to promote Independent shops. It is something I strongly believe in and it feels great to be part of a movement that pushes this on a national level.

Of course Flea Circus] has always been about supporting independent businesses at a grass roots level. And Jim and I are very proud of our sellers (the fleas) and humbled by the support the shop receives from the local community.

Throughout the pandemic you came out in your droves and supported our sellers thought the toughest of times by taking part in our watching our lives and keeping the sales trickling in.
But support for local businesses isn’t just for pandemics, it is needed all the time. These independents bring the colour to our communities and make our city original. They also help the local economy to grow and make us all richer. Quite literally!

So to kick off the events for three of our fleas and will be joining the local community with a stall at Heaton Festival open 11am-5pm, in Heaton Park tomorrow (June 25th).

I will be there too, giving out our fancy new flyers, telling people who don’t know about Flea Circus] and working hard to promote the message.
There will be a lot more activity to come from me this week. So watch this space .👀

So Fleabies… it’s been a while! It’s a long time since I’ve done a full restock of the rail. It can be so hard balancing work, family and more. But thanks to annual leave, I’ve managed to put in some decent hours and things are looking brighter! And spring-y! All things bright and beautiful and all that.
