Four rather bonny Baracutas in store atm 👀

We’re all for an affordable, reliable, everyday Harrington Jacket, but if you fancy really treating yourself you can’t go wrong with a Baracuta G9

To Harrington jackets what Burberry are to Trench Coats, these are a real slice of luxury and timeless cool that will last a lifetime with the right care!

• A rather different 80’s licensed Baracuta from either the US or Australia made using bright red suede! - Labelled up as a Large but it’s cut big for the size unlike modern examples - £160

• A classic if there ever was one, we have Dark Navy - 40”/Medium - £125

• One to keep you warm when that cold comes back in, a lovely thick patterned wool example (this lad does have 1 missing collar button, and 1 missing pocket button, be aware) - 40”/Medium - £95

We turned 4 yesterday! And honestly it had completely slipped our mind with the amount of behind the scenes work we’ve been cracking through recently 😅

We needed the excuse to look through some old photos and frankly it was a fantastic opportunity to really recognise how far we’ve managed to come the last 4 years!

1) Our first ever stall! We had finished our shift at Scorpio, lugged down two storage boxes of gear, and threw together what we still reckon was a half decent display all things considered 👌🏻

2) Tynemouth Market was where we really started to get our teeth into trading and we’ve still got regulars coming in store week after week who first came across us there! We’re glad to be away from the 6:30 starts mind 👀

3) our shop first starting to take shape! This photos was taken after what felt like a lifetime of sanding woodwork and balancing on top of scaffolding… and we weren’t even half done 😅

4) the shop ready to rock! It’s wild looking back at the shop when we first opened, there’s no external display, the window is lacking in impulse purchase disco ball, and the walls don’t have every square inch covered in stock 😂

5) Adam and Jenn trying not to look awkward on camera became a running theme for a while… we reckon we just about got away with it 🤷🏻‍♂️

6) A somewhat less managed look at the pair of us after a ‘few’ drinks while taking part as a supplier in a fashion show last year! It was a first for us and we’re hoping we’ll get the chance to take part in more events like this going forward!

7) Adam and Jenns view for the last three weeks… it’s been mental busy recently admin wise with Jenn moving our books across to a brand new system, and Adam sorting well over 1000 items for a website we’ll be launching in the near future!

It’s safe to say there’s been some hard times, but we wouldn’t change it for the world and we’re buzzing to see what exciting things are to come!!

Surely not two punk related posts on the bounce from the skinhead shop?!

Contrary to popular belief, we actually cater to a wide range of subcultures including skinheads, Mods, casuals, soulboys, and of course punks as demonstrated by these stunning vintage Tartan DMs that left the shop yesterday!

A purchase for the TH archive came through the doors today!

Very much the classic Punk leather cut featuring all the studding, stencilling, and wear and tear you’d expect!

What sets this particular piece apart for us is the locality of it! Having originally been bought at SecondSkin, a Newcastle staple that was located about 10 seconds walk from our store, and the go to leathers shop for generations before its closure a few years ago!

This particular piece unfortunately won’t be available for purchase as it’s destined for display, but if you’d be after more of these in store let us know in the comments!

Had a bit of a DIY day in store making a new stand for these two after getting sick of them crashing to the ground and being unable to wear trousers… scandalous sods

Needs a sand down and a lick of paint mind, but quite happy with the results of the day!

P.S. Any suggestions on a decent adhesive that would secure polystyrene and hard plastic without decimating the polystyrene would be much appreciated!
