Today's new personal best of 11k in 1 hour 9 minutes.
I seem to be picking up about 2k a week in training so it seems plausible that I will manage the 21k on the big day.

I am loving the running. Today I hit some of my old running trails I did in my 20s which felt good.

Aquarius Retro - midcentury glass and ceramics- is run by a gorgeous couple from Ryton, Northumberland. This duo travel the length and breadth of the UK to find their stock and bring it back to our Ouseburn shop.
Nicolette and Jon are well known in collectors circles for their stunning collection, all the fairs they sell at and their beautiful Instagram grid

I have worked with these two for almost 8 years now and I never tire of seeing the stock they have collected on finding missions, and hearing their enthusiasm for what they do.

They are so excited by every piece. It's contagious.

Showing off the work of local North East artist today.
Her range of work is stunning. But this new piece, a product of her study at is so beautiful I wanted to show it to you all.
Clare has a passion for the natural world. Most of her work is inspired by Northumberland, with a special emphasis on the North East Coast line, our beaches wildlife and trees.

Our wonderful River Tyne and stunning North East coastline have been polluted with more than a billion tiny plastic beads called nurdles.
A crane collision on the river caused the spill and now our beaches and wildlife are suffering.
If you love the beaches, it's time to step up.
The authorities are doing what they can, but your help is needed.

Here is a link to the WhatsApp community leading the grassroots clean up operation. Please read all their announcement. All the information you need is there. And please share: we need as many hands as possible.
