Well what a busy day I’ve had, didn’t quite get through my list - the bulbs never made it into the garden!

Tomorrow I’m heading off to do lots of cycling in Spain in warm sunshine - almost forgotten what that’s like if I’m honest!!!

And of course visiting a few of my favourite fabric shops!

All the Summer pre order fabrics will have arrived by the time I get back on 2 June ready for me to get cracking.

Thanks for all the summer sub box orders, they’ll be going out by end of June - autumn ones will be available to order then too!! And dare I mention Christmas???

People often ask why handmade? Yes you can go to the supermarket, big brand shops or Shein.

What you can’t get though, is the choice to tailor the clothes to how you want them to look and feel. That extra length maybe, the slightly different style, the sewing of the label in a more comfortable place, the different colour cuffing and banding or a mash of fabrics and styles. Or maybe you want the top off one design and the peplum off another as in this lovely set.

We can’t compete with prices and yes sometimes we can be a little more pricey than you thought but what you do get is quality and a personal service.

Some say sewing is a work of art - this shirt proves it! Featuring an original abstract design by a local artist, who requested a unique statement shirt featuring the artwork as the whole shirt with no repeating pattern. Huge thanks to for capturing the original artwork and for bringing it to life on cotton.
