Step Into Your Colours - Colour Analysis & Confidence Coaching NI Colour Analysis I’m Briege, a Colour Consultant based in Newcastle, working across Northern Ireland.

Colour analysis (sometimes called colour matching) and confidence-building sessions in Northern Ireland, helping women (and men) feel comfortable, confident and more themselves through colour. My fascination with colour began in my early 20s, when I had my own colours analysed and experienced first-hand how the right colours can lift not just your appearance, but your mood and confidence too. Afte

r retiring from teaching in 2023, I decided to turn that long-held passion into a career. I trained in London and hold a CPD-accredited qualification in Colour Analysis, bringing together education, wellbeing and practical guidance in a calm, supportive way. I offer:

- 1:1 Personal Colour Analysis

- Small Group Colour Consultations

- Workplace and Community Colour and Confidence Wellbeing Workshops

- Bridal, bridal parties and mothers of the bride/groom colour consultations

Sessions are relaxed, informative and tailored to you, helping you understand which colours suit you best for clothing, accessories and makeup - and why. I truly believe that understanding your best colours is one of the most valuable, lasting gifts you can give yourself (or someone you love). Once you have that knowledge, it stays with you for life, making everyday choices easier, more flattering and far more joyful.

Delighted to be delivering a Colour with Confidence Workshop for Enterprising Women this October.
I am a member of Enterprising Women myself and it really is a lovely network, supporting both new and established female entrepreneurs across the Mid and East Antrim area.
Running your own business can sometimes be a fairly solitary affair, so having opportunities to meet other women, share ideas, learn from each other and simply have a good chat is so worthwhile.
My Colour & Confidence workshops have become an increasingly popular part of my work, and I’m really looking forward to bringing this one to the group. We’ll be talking colour, clothes, confidence and some very practical ways to make getting dressed — for work and everyday life — that bit easier.
And no, nobody will be forced into bright pink!
If you’re a woman running a business, or thinking about starting one, in the Mid and East Antrim area, Enterprising Women is well worth a look.

Delivered by our Enterprising Women and local business owner Briege this will provide something different to the norm! Do you always wear a colour you are confident with Black maybe? Do you find the thought of wearing bright pink or yellow horrifying. Using different colours can transform your whole...

Everyone knows I’m much more of a rock chick than a country music fan, but Dolly Parton was one lady I always had huge respect for.
She knew exactly who she was and she wasn’t afraid to be seen. The hair, the sparkle, the clothes, the humour. She created a look that was unmistakably Dolly and stuck with it. From a personal branding point of view, there’s a lot to learn from that.
But behind all the glamour was a whip-smart businesswoman, a brilliant songwriter and someone who quietly supported many good causes, particularly children’s literacy, without constantly looking for praise for it.
I’ve always liked her advice:
“𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒐 𝒊𝒕 𝒐𝒏 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆.”
That could apply to life, work, clothes and pretty much everything else.
And while you’re unlikely to find much country music on my playlist, I’ve always loved Coat of Many Colors. Perhaps it was the colour that won me over.
A very distinctive, clever and generous lady who was never afraid to be herself.

Lovely hike up Hen Mountain in the Mournes to clear the head.
There was colour everywhere — purple heather, bright yellow wildflowers, red rowan berries and even my first ladybird in years.
I did my bit for the colour scheme too in my bright pink Dunnes top — a £5 bargain.
The blackberries brought me straight back to childhood, picking them at home for blackberry pie and, of course, Seamus Heaney’s Blackberry-Picking.
Glorious colours from nature. Sometimes the best colour inspiration is right under our noses.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.
A highlight from my visit to the Galway International Arts Festival in July. I always make a point of calling into the Festival Gallery on William Street, and this year I was especially taken by sculptor 𝙎𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙃𝙚𝙣𝙧𝙮’𝙨 𝙚𝙭𝙝𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.
So much so, I called in twice — and went looking for the other figures dotted around Galway city too.
Some were almost life-sized and incredibly striking, while others were much smaller and particularly touching. There was something very human and quietly moving about them.
Definitely one of my highlights from Galway this year.
A memorable exhibition and one that has stayed with me.

Our wee cockapoo, Rua, thought you deserved a really big flower today.
No reason. No occasion. Just because everyone deserves a little colour now and then.

These five friends celebrated their 40th birthdays with a Colour Analysis session in a beautiful house in Brontë Country. It was relaxed, full of laughs, and everyone left knowing the colours that suit them best.
The fun didn’t stop there. They headed to The Boulevard Outlet Park, Banbridge afterwards to put their new seasonal palettes into practice.
I love these shared sessions because everyone enjoys the experience together, encourages one another, and leaves with something they’ll use for years to come.
If you’re planning a birthday celebration, girls’ weekend or another special occasion, it’s a lovely way to make lasting memories while learning something genuinely useful.

𝑻𝙤𝒅𝙖𝒚 𝒊𝙨 𝙄𝒏𝙩𝒆𝙧𝒏𝙖𝒕𝙞𝒐𝙣𝒂𝙡 𝙎𝒆𝙡𝒇 𝑪𝙖𝒓𝙚 𝘿𝒂𝙮.
We often think self-care has to be something big.
But sometimes it's simply wearing colours that help you look healthier, brighter and more like yourself.
It's amazing what a difference the right colour can make.

𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂?
After hundreds of Colour Analysis consultations, I've realised that although every person is different, many of the conversations are surprisingly similar.
It's rarely about fashion.
It's about a wardrobe full of clothes that somehow never feels quite right.
It's buying another black top because it feels like the safe option.
It's wondering why one particular top always attracts compliments.
And it's often hearing, "I used to wear more colour." I always find that a little sad.
The good news is that discovering your best colours isn't about following fashion rules or replacing your wardrobe. It's about understanding what naturally suits you, so getting dressed becomes easier and you feel more like yourself.
If any of this sounds familiar and you'd like a little help, I'd love to hear from you. Just give me a call or send me a message for a chat.
