I'm looking for a couple people to join me as Pattern Testers for the Transformation Dress.

You will get sent a graded copy of the pattern as well a instructions (but probably no, or limited photographs) and a short video on how to 'pack' the dress for performance. The WhatsApp Group will be there to answer sewing up questions, but also to help me understand what you need from the pattern including design elements, instruction details, pricing etc. These will need to be made up before the release in September, so don't apply if you will not have time before then. Upon release you'll get a full copy of the final pattern. All I would ask for are a few photos of the dress on stage/in performance/on your performer for my website.

Please comment below if that's something you'd like to be involved in, as I will be shipping tester packs early next week. Then I will reply to your comment if you have been successful and arrange a DM.

I'm not sure how to select people so there will be an element of drawing names from a hat, however; you will have had to have bought at least one pattern before, and can you comment with your sewing experience and best costume you have made so far.

BEGINNERS PLEASE APPLY!! If you have only been sewing for a year or 2, have only made a few costumes or are even just about to dip your toe, please apply as I would like to make this pattern as accessible as possible!!

I'll be selecting participants Saturday/Sunday so no rush to apply today.

Good morning folks, and happy Saturday! Looks to be another steaming hot day here in Wales, how are you all in your parts of the world?
Some of you have been here from the start and will know that Tangled Stitch is my lockdown baby, born of a fairly innocent question from another costume maker and my absolute desperate boredom. It wasn't ever really supposed to last this long, but the patterns seem to have helped so many fellow costume makers that I am still here 😂
The initial patterns were drafted very quickly, and I have realized that some of the pieces of the early patterns bodices don't fit together as well as they could. I have re-drafted them and am happy to email out updates as you need. This will also be included on the next Newsletter (sign up here below), but do feel free to message me or email lauralejeunecostume@gmailcom if you would like an update.

The last of the pre-ordered Bathing Beauty Sewing Patterns have now shipped, whoop!! I genuinely can't wait to see what you all make with this pattern, so many people have commented such different ideas and colour choices!!

Sewing pattern and instruction booklet to create a stylish, open front jacket with shaped hem, front and sleeve detailing. The Dungarees are loose fit and peg-legged with a zipper at the side, front patch pocket and cross straps. a simple Elf Hat pattern is also included. This pattern also includes applique decoration patterns and instructions on how to use them. A unique, tailored version of a Christmas Elf, this pattern is a great introduction to more tailored shapes, and has endless decoration opportunities. The Box Jacket would also look fantastic over many of the Tangled stitch dresses, as well as accompanied with the Tinsel Hollyberry skirt.

Inspired by Christmas sparkles and Holly leaves, the Tinsel Hollyberry sewing pattern and instruction booklet create a quirky, lace front sleeveless bodice with flared and shaped hem and knee length, full gathered swing skirt. Also included are a hat pattern and applique decoration templates with instructions on how to use them. This cheerful and unique costume bodice would work well as an accompaniment for a range of the Tangled Stitch dresses, as a fun way to create a Christmas element over an existing costume.

Tinsel Hollyberry is graded to 35", 40", 45", 50", 55" and 60" Chest and a full instruction book is included with the pattern.
