What a fabulous weekend popping up in our beautiful old truck ✹
Sadly we couldn’t join for their pre loved sale due to not being enough space for the old girl to fit in and leave room for much needed customers, and that’s what is so very important to all small local businesses. I hope you went along anyway and found yourself some fabulous secondhand bits and enjoyed a pint or two at the bar . The pre loved sales there are such fun, and have the best community feel and vibe ✹
Anyway we went on Saturday and parked up on the lawn Retorrickmill and ended up staying through till Monday morning…and still we didn’t want to leave! This place has my heart. The vibe hasn’t changed in years, it’s still the most charmingly laid back, friendly venue nestled in the valley a stones throw from Mawgan Porth beach. It is one of Cornwalls true hidden gems and you can get lost in time there. The food is to die for… Buccas in their beautiful open kitchen serving the best wood fired pizzas and extended menu ✹
The live music was fabulous kicking off in the afternoon then as the sun went down over the sea, the fire got lit and the DJ took over until the early hours of the morning. I have not danced so much in ages or enjoyed such a wonderful evening around wonderful people. Wilf and dawn and the whole crew are absolute legends ✹
All of that plus trading in our lovely mobile stall. We have been overwhelmed with people’s response to our little truck of joy. It is so lovely to have a shop space again and actually communicate face to face, I have missed that. Thankyou so so very much for all that came and purchased and supported us this weekend, we love and appreciate you all so much ✹
This Thursday we will be popping up LULA and we can’t wait for another day in a fabulous location with some new faces, spreading the joy of handmade, vintage and salvaged ✹
