Welcome to Samsara

We are a small collaboration of eclectic designers from Cornwall and the creators of the YouTube video “Hymn to Pan” by Faun and SamsaraWear

We have ready to ship items in a great range of sizes and colours. We also tailor make custom orders to suit individual requirements. Our designers are visionary with an eye for detailing and the iconic shaping of fashion. We use high qu

ality fabrics and organic where possible. As well as recycled vintage saris. Our boho sari dresses are each one of a kind, no two are the same. Caring for our customers needs and individuality is a priceless blessing we embrace. We love chatting to all of you and discussing your special requests and desires. We are devoted to, and doing our best to care for our wonderful planet through our sustainable fabrics, up cycling and all of our packaging is natural or compostable. Although we check our recycled fabrics the nature of vintage fabrics such as saris can sometimes mean they have small insignificant flaws occasionally. If you want to shop differently, you are at home here. Much love from us

One of the greatest gifts of this journey is witnessing where it leads. 🤍

Seeing Samsara become part of your lives is something I’ll never take for granted. Every piece begins with an idea, a fabric and a story, but its real journey begins when someone makes it their own.

A heartfelt thank you to Astara Alchemy for sharing this beautiful moment.

I’d love to see where your Samsara journey has taken you too. Whether it’s a festival, the beach, a celebration, a ceremony or simply a day that made you feel like yourself again, please send us your photos.

📩 Email them to: [email protected]

You’ll also find the full Samsara collection on our website, where we’ve been able to pass on the savings from selling directly.

There are very few places in the world quite like Glastonbury.

It’s a place where individuality isn’t just accepted—it’s celebrated.

Every walk through the town reminds me that there isn’t one way to be beautiful.

There isn’t one silhouette.

There isn’t one personality.

There isn’t one version of confidence.

When I wear Samsara here, people often stop me to say, “I love your outfit.”

But what makes me happiest isn’t the compliment.

It’s being surrounded by people who have found the confidence to express who they really are.

That’s why Samsara has never been about creating one look.

I don’t want you to dress up as Samsara.

I want you to be yourself in Samsara.

Because when clothing feels like you, something changes.

You stand a little taller.

You smile a little more.

And somehow… you find your way back to yourself.

There was something about Kala Cotton that spoke to me long before I ever designed a garment from it.

For generations it was grown in the dry lands of Gujarat, naturally rain-fed and adapted to thrive with very little water. As commercial cotton varieties took over, Kala Cotton was gradually abandoned because it produced lower yields and was more challenging to spin.

It could easily have become another forgotten story.

Instead, thanks to the dedication of organisations like the Khamir Project and the local farming and artisan communities, it is finding its place again.

Perhaps that’s why I fell in love with it.

Not just because it’s beautiful.

But because it reminds me that some things are worth protecting.

For over a decade, I’ve watched the same beautiful moment unfold.

A friend encouraging another woman to try something on.

A smile in the mirror.

Sometimes tears.

Then the words…

“You’re back.”

Those moments have taught me more about designing than any trend forecast ever could.

Every collection begins with an idea, but those ideas are shaped by real women, real conversations and real moments of connection.

This is my life’s work.

Thank you for letting me be part of your journey. 🌿

Beautiful clothing begins with an idea.

An idea shaped by beauty.
Guided by an ethos.
Brought to life through travel, relationships and knowledge.

Every Samsara design begins long before the first stitch.

This visit to the Khamir Project is one chapter of that journey.

Most clothing brands dye their fabrics.
For the Quan Yin Collection, we chose not to.
Our Kala cotton is grown using only rainwater (with no irrigation) and without pesticides.
When it came time to design this collection, we asked ourselves one simple question:
If this fibre has reached us exactly as nature intended, do we really need to add another water-intensive process?
For this collection, our answer was no.
So we left it untouched.
Its natural colour.
Its beautiful texture.
Its honest character.
Not because undyed is fashionable.
But because we wanted to honour the journey of the fibre, from field to garment.
Every Samsara garment begins with a series of conscious decisions.
This is just one of them.
Would you choose the natural beauty of an undyed fabric?

“Just act normal,” she said…

Apparently this is what that looks like. 😂

A little behind-the-scenes from our Tallulah skirt and Runny top shoot. No soundtrack, no posing, no perfect takes—just laughter, movement, and a moment that felt too good not to share.

Sometimes the outtakes tell the story best. ✨

Creating Carrie.

The skirt that stops people in their tracks.

For weeks, she was unavailable because we simply couldn’t keep up with demand.

Twelve metres of flowing fabric, brought to life by skilled hands, patient craftsmanship, and countless stitches.

Some things are worth waiting for.

Carrie is back. ✨
