I was recently awarded Sew Magazines Dressmaker Of The Year in the childrens category. The Little Fairy was established from a passion for beautiful yet affordable childrens clothing and inspired by my 5 children, a boy and 4 girls. Made using high quality fabrics I create childrens dresses, cosy hoody's, baby clothing and even fairytale capes, as well as embroidered cusions, appliques and freesta

nding lace items. I'm always looking for new ideas and gorgeous fabrics to see what I can create next.

Heather and Lilac ballet dress

The chest is adorned with intricate flowers. These flowers trail down toward the center in a "V" shape, creating a flattering vertical line.
The flowers are highlighted with pink crystals whilst sparkly rhinestones and half pearls follows the "V" shape of the waistline.

A little later than usual, but here is this weeks tutu.

A vertical, V-shaped trail of silver thread embroidery, floral lace, and beadwork cascades down the center-front of the lilac bodice.
The skirt is made of multiple layers of crisp white Italian net. The top layer is decorated with pretty flowers that encircles the waist,
radiating lines of silver sequins and embroidered leaves, and scattered rhinestones or pearls that catch the light beautifully on stage.

This tutu was made for a returning client, she's is an absolute breeze to work with and is was such a delight to put together her vision for her daughter.
I love these muted tones, so graceful and elegant and this rich embroidered lace is just beautiful.
