A bespoke corset is more than a garment — it is a piece created exclusively for you.
Designed around your body, your measurements and your vision, every bespoke corset begins with an original pattern drafted from scratch. Unlike off-the-peg or made-to-order corsets, it is individually engineered to provide exceptional fit, comfort and a silhouette that is uniquely your own.
From the first pencil line to the final stitch, every stage of the process is personal. A bespoke corset is an investment in craftsmanship, artistry and fit — created not only to look extraordinary, but to feel extraordinary to wear.
This bespoke bridal corset was commissioned to sit beneath a sheer gold gown. The brief was a deep plunge neckline, sculpted support and ivory silk that would complement the delicate layers worn over the top. This is the beginning of a tale of two websites...

I've made the decision to focus JB Corsets on what it has always done best: bespoke corsetry.
That means a dedicated space for my core customers who are those looking for a truly individual piece. I already have several wonderful brides booked for this year and next, with some incredibly exciting projects in the works. For at least one of them, I'll be collaborating with my darling friend Gerry of Morua Designs, which I'm very much looking forward to.
JB Corsets will still be home to my four original ready-to-wear styles. Nearly eight years ago, I became one of the first - if not the first - British corsetière to release a ready-to-wear overbust corset collection along side my two RTW under busts. Those designs have stood the test of time, and my standard fit remains something I'm immensely proud of. They belong here.
While I often talk about brides, JB Corsets has always created for men, AMAB clients, and anyone who loves the transformative power of a hand crafted bespoke corset. This space is for you too.
But...
The upheaval of the last eighteen months has stirred something else in me. A desire to venture deeper into the more indulgent corners of my creativity. A darker, richer, more sybaritic world of design. The work I'm creating going forward will be more voluptuous. More sumptuous. More design led. This creative vision is driven by a desire for escapism—an immersion into worlds of fantasy and myth, where pleasure is elevated through luxury - expect more on this.

For now, though, I'd love you to take a look around the newly polished JB Corsets website and tell me what you think. I've added a brand-new section called The Lacing Library, packed with helpful information to guide you towards the right corset for your body, style, and goals.

Has anyone else felt completely overwhelmed by all the things lately?
It's been a while since I last posted because over the last 18 months, in both my personal and professional life, one too many "life-changing" events landed in quick succession and some plates had to drop. Not without a bit of smashing, I might add.

The last transition was that I had to say goodbye to my beloved woodland atelier. Since then, things have settled down and I've been busy behind the scenes—tidying up the website, regrouping, and brewing some exciting new plans.

And now, I finally have lots to share with you. There will be plenty of updates, sneak peeks, and announcements coming over the next few weeks, so stay tuned.

I have many male clients who have a much wider range of corset requirements than their lady counterparts. This particular commission was one of my bridegrooms - not too unusual, except that the fabric he gave me to work with was stripey as you can see - not a huge problem again, except that Simon was completely asymmetrical and I had to not only make the corset look straight, but also the stripes! This review from a regular client who started off stealthing the Nymph underbust and then took an extra inch off her reduction by upgrading to the Super Nymph. She wears corsets under her summer dresses and chooses fabrics which melt into her skin. With summer coming up do reach out if you want to sharpen your silhouette.
