The main wall is painted in sailors blue. I managed to get the three mirrors and the lamp for a fiver!! Although the lamp base isn't something I would normally go for, I like the colours and thought it would go with the main scheme. The shade was given a quick lick of pink paint. The drawers again quick lick of paint and new handles (you'll see them in original photo). The throw was a fiver on eBay. I couldn't afford a new carpet so hey presto, guess what? Yes you got it! A lick of paint and sealed. The cushion was mine, I made from a tapestry kit which I personalised by sewing America 2006 on to remember my 40th birthday celebratory holiday to NYC with my sister Lesley. The chair was passed onto me via my grandmother. And finally the bear, was donated (!!) from Abby's bedroom and was a gift I brought back from NYC. The only thing I'm looking for to complete the look is a little rug. I originally wanted french rustic but this changed once I used leftover blue paint! I think it's definitely got the retro vintage look! Colour scheme may not be to everyone's taste but I ❤️ it. Just shows leftover paint, few existing pieces and bargain finds can transform a room!!! what do you think????
