Honestly, clothes these days are made from such terribly poor fabrics that they don't stand a chance of fitting well or looking good. So what are you paying for???

.k.gd took a lot, lot,Lotta pics of my shirts today in our downstairs gallery space. So many, in fact, that I can post a shirt a day for a week, which is great news when you're a small creative business and you have to post daily to get any sort of engagement. I love the variety that using vintage tablecloths brings. I also like being limited to the size of the tablecloth.

I'm currently working on a new collection of bags with Goda, my super talented intern. Lots of beautiful old needlepoints, trims, fabrics, and tassels combined in winning combinations. Its so interesting to see our individual tastes develop. There's a lot of editing before the final fabrics are chosen.

I'm hoping to be taking lots of these along to the makers fairs that I've recently booked - in Bath on Sept 21st at The American Museum also on Oct 12th/13th. Fingers and toes crossed they maybe in December too!

The super, smashing, lovely my neighbour last week
Not only did she exercise exquisite taste in her fabric selection, she was just downright funny and kept my spirits up.
I am so looking forward to their Xmas event and hoping they'll have me back.
