Just got to pop the elastic in and sew the hem, ill be wearing them tomorrow!!

2 more bridesmaids dresses completed and collected today

One was just shortening as it was really long and the 2nd was shortening at the front only and removing the concealed zip, putting it back in lower down and creating a "V" at the back.

Hope they have a fabulous time at the wedding

One of todays many jobs was sewing this strap back onto the bag by hand, tough work on your hands, as material is so thick.

Hopefully it lasts her a little while longer now fingers 🤞

Final prom dress for this year, a returning customer, I altered his other daughter's prom jumpsuit last year.

I shortened the straps and the length as both were way to long, plus she was wearing an added underskirt which also needed shortening.

Another beautiful dress, I hope she has an amazing prom. 💃

Beautiful prom dress shortened as it was super long!

You cant see from the photos but there is a split in it so really important both sides were the same length when finished, multiple layers and a mesh band on the final hem layer to give the dress structure and weight at the bottom

So this repair is a new one for me, shoes 👞

The elastic on the fastener was going so I was asked if I could shorten it therefore making it tighter, its had to be hand sewn which was a bit tough on the hands, but its worked, not sure how long it will last for but there ok to wear for now.

Love the variety I get in this job.

Bridesmaids dresses completed this morning 🌄

Taken up at the straps/sleeves, slightly different strap on this dress, as they over lap the main strap, and taken in at the sides aswell.

A beautiful dress, all ready for a wedding at the weekend
