Where do I start?

I’ll start with a thank you to everyone that has stepped foot through our little green door in Davenham and the town centre. Whilst shopping for lovely things we have chatted, laughed, cried and put the world to rights. I’ve made friends for life in customers and owners of other businesses. I am so thankful.

Ivy Cottage has been the forefront of my life and I wanted to end on a high and today I realised that. When I locked the door a little while ago, I wasn’t sad like I thought I would be. Of course I will miss everything about my little business but I am now free to adventure and start ticking off things on my bucket list so although I will miss it sometimes, I’ll always have lovely memories.

Ivy Cottage has been my baby. It’s grown into a fantastic business and you were all part of that. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you 💕

Also, I wouldn’t be able to write any of this if it wasn’t for our Rach, she has been an absolute credit to Ivy Cottage and I couldn’t have gotten through the last 18 months without her. She has dropped her plans, changed appointments and been my sounding board when I needed her the most when my personal life was lifing at 150mph. She’s just been incredible and I know how much our customers loved her.

Anyway, I’m in danger of waffling so I’m going to say a huge adios amigos , thank you for everything. Peace out ✌️

Thank you to everyone who has helped us clear the stock from the shop, it means the world that I won’t have to take loads of it into storage 😅 and you’ve had some real bargains!

We have 3, yes THREE trading days left. Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10-4

Next week is going to be EVEN CHEAPER so don’t miss out. We have some fabulous Joma and Katie Loxton Christmas gifts that are having prices slashed so may be worth stocking up and putting them in that safe place you have to then forget they’re there and find them on Boxing Day 😀

Anyway, I’m having a couple of days off then I’ll be back revitalised ready for the final chapter 😘

📣 UPDATE 📣

We will be closing the shop doors for good on Saturday 11th July 😢

Until then, our opening hours will be:

Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week and next 10am-4pm

ALL STOCK MUST GO so grab yourself some bargains whilst it’s still there 🛍️

If anyone is interested in shop fittings (some have already been sold) then pop in to have a chat.

Our friends are back! These were unexpected but were on back order with a supplier - we’re not complaining! Think I’m a little in love with the pint of beer 🍺

Open Tuesday 10-4 and going forward we will be closing at 4pm each day as I’m balancing personal stuff with shop stuff.

Don’t forget we are having Christmas in June this year and we are going to start reducing things a lot more as we grow closer to closing because within a couple of weeks I want to be at a stage where I’m emptying the shop
