Lots going on in Scrapadoo land for autumn and Christmas. Here's a run down of the workshops planned so far, there are a couple of extras to add when I know what I'm doing. We have some new exciting workshops such as sewing with gold leaf (ooh!) and a cross over apron, as well as some old favourites with new Christmas designs for silk painting, batik and Dee's mixed media.

What a fantastic end to our Scrapadoo summer sewing season. Friends, mothers and daughters had a lovely time making bucket hats and patchwork cushions. We even had a cute panda drawstring bag produced. I have thoroughly enjoyed every workshop this summer, the two hour sessions mean that bigger projects can be tackled, increasing confidence and skills. And of course, everyone has fun.
After school sewing clubs start in Autumn.

Three teen sewing novices enjoyed turning a pile of scrap fabric into beautiful patchwork cushions. They learnt how to thread the sewing machine, practised sewing straight-ish lines and within a couple of hours were proud owners of their very own bespoke colourful cushions. One student, who'd been a couple of times before, braved zips and made the most beautiful lined zip pouch. What a clever lot they are! đź‘Ź
