Here is the next spotlight on one of the current designs from Kerusso Designs.

"Rescued, Redeemed, Restored, Forgiven"

Colossians 1:13-14 says,

'For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.'

In our sinful state we are in need of rescue, in need of deliverance from the darkness, the trouble that we are in. God is so merciful that He sent His Son, Jesus, to pay the price for our foolish ways, for our sin, for our disobedience - He redeemed us. He paid the price for us so that we could go free.

That is an amazing gift.

But it doesn't end there. Once He has rescued and redeemed us from the clutches of sin and darkness, He goes on to restore us. To bring our lives back into order and restore us to right relationship with the Father all whilst gracing us with the beauty of forgiveness - washing us clean from the things which had held us on a path to destruction and giving us a clean slate.

Rescued.
Redeemed.
Restored.
Forgiven.

Hi all.

Here is the next highlighted design from Kerusso Designs.

"Choose Life"

Deuteronomy 30:19 says,

"This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live."

I can remember when Matt and I were over in Bible school having to learn passages of scripture, and this was one of the first parts of a passage which we learnt. It really stood out to me and to this day I still remember it.

Why?

Because it clearly states that we have a choice! There is so much going on in the world, so many voices, so many choices, so many opinions that we could listen to, follow and choose to agree and go with, oftentimes with disastrous results. We side with the bad feelings, the cycles of misfortune that our parents and their parents suffered, we embrace and also suffer.

Ever wondered why some people seem to always be suffering or things go wrong for them? Why? Oftentimes it's because there are curses on the family trying to drag individuals down, trying to destroy and hinder life.

This passage of scripture tells us that laid out before us is life and death, blessing and curses. It then goes on to instruct us to 'CHOOSE LIFE'.

You see, when we choose to follow God's instructions for our life, then we choose life over death, we choose blessing over curses, and it not only applies to us, but it breaks the negative cycle of curses and death for us AND our children.

In a world where death and destruction, despair, curses and hopelessness are rife, today, where people are choosing to do their own thing, to please themselves instead of God, instead of following Him, why not do the right thing when He lays it out before you...

Choose life, choose blessing.

Evening all. Hope you've had a great day so far.

Tonight's design highlight is:

"God chaser"

Matthew 6:33 talks about seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. About going after God, chasing Him and then finding fulfilment through and in really knowing Him.

Chasing after God being to seek Him, find Him and know Him. Not just as a one off when we need something from Him or when we are in a tricky spot, but when chasing after God becomes a very integral part of our lives as we hunger after the presence of God, being so passionate about God that we will do whatever it takes to pursue/chase after Him.
