After a busy couple of months , it's holiday time .
Workshop is closed until 27th July .
Any orders that are made within the next 2 weeks will be sent the week starting 27th July .
If I don't reply to emails or phone calls/messages straight away it's because I might be somewhere where I cannot get a signal . So bear with me and I will get back to you soon as I can .
Going on a road trip in the camper van, along the East Coast of the UK .

This beautiful Dry Wax herringbone fabric in Burgundy was chosen by a loyal customer. @ halleystevensons .

He has had a few in this style ( he originally gave us the idea for the cowl neck smock, which we thank him for ) . His work is in Brittany, France working on boats, so he needs the cowl neck to keep the wind out , it is extendable so rolls up to 9" tall .
The secure pocket flap stops anything dropping into the water while he's working .

We love to do custom made pieces for our customers .

So if anyone would like something specially made in a specific fabric that we can normally supply or a fabric that they have .

We would love to make that special garment in our small workshop in Norfolk.

A garment that will age beautifully.
Great layer to wear over a shirt, -t-shirt even a jumper on those colder times.

Made in our workshop in Norfolk by hand . From cutting out the pieces, preparing , sewing the pieces together and finishing with the beautiful corozo nut buttons.

Then dispatched to our loyal customers , whether they are in the UK, Japan, Europe or USA. We've sent them there .

Hope everyone is enjoying the glorious weather. 🌞
From slow fashion brand to slow living on the river .
It's a Bank Holiday Monday , so what is the perfect thing to do on your day off ?

Paddle boarding with Nathan and Murphy on a peaceful river between Mayton Bridge and Buxton in Norfolk .

Think the fresh air and taking in all the wildlife has worn Murphy out ,sleeping like a baby . 😴
Even the cows are chilling in the river, don't blame them !!

As Blackshore Clothing Ltd is sustainable British Made company. I thought I would like to share this , received today from &Co. A great reusable cup . Love that it's made from recycled paper cups and British Made 🇬🇧

It'll be next to my sewing machine ( nice orange lid too, so no spillages☺️) as I work away making sustainable British -Made🇬🇧 clothing .

Rain has come to Norfolk .

The wind is blowing the flags on the USAAF memorial.
I think the farmers , plants, trees are loving it after such a long dry spell.

For this type of weather, a shower proof garment is what you need. Our Smocks and Ponchos are made from Dry Wax Cotton ( ) which can be retreated after wax has lost its effect by using a dry wax spray available from Halley Stevensons .
