I was born in Bulgaria and fashion has been my passion from a very young age. My mother taught me to sew and we made all kinds of doll clothes. As a teenager I really enjoyed making clothes for my friends. It was so inspiring to see them look fantastic in my dresses I liked knowing that someone’s life is better because of what I did. My teachers didn't just teach us sketching techniques, but also

imparted practical knowledge that helped me a lot to get my first job. I moved to Nottingham 10 years ago where I set up my tailoring business Black Butterfly Tailoring together with my husband. We are currently employing 4 highly experienced seamstresses. We are appreciated for our meticulous attention to detail, reasonable prices and exceptional customer service. We are proud to offer an unparalleled level of service and help our clients to maintain that good wardrobe care that means that clothing can be enjoyed for many years. If the shoulders of your jacket are sticking out we can alter them to perfect fit and adjust pads to define or soften the silhouette.
In order to improve the fit of a suit we will pin the jacket so that we can open and close the seams restitching any excess fabric and the suit fits perfectly.
By taking in the sides seams fabric the waist can be shaped to perfectly show off your shape, yet still have a slight blaze over the hips.

This process of sleeves shortening involves several precise steps:
Removing the buttons: We carefully removes the existing buttons from the cuff.
Opening the lining: The inner lining is opened at the sleeve end to access the outer fabric.
Cutting the excess: The sleeve is shortened from the bottom edge to your desired length.
Recreating the holes: We reopens the seam and sews new sham buttonholes (also known as faux buttonholes), then reattaches the buttons.
Shortening a suit jacket from the shoulders is the best option when the cuffs have working buttonholes or complex detail that cannot be altered from the bottom. This method preserves the original cuff design and button placement perfectly.
