Thank you everyone for all the beautiful flowers, plants, cards, chocolates, wine & biscuits I have received. Things are starting to settle down now. I still have a few brides to collect and one to post. I have met some lovely people over the last 2 weeks and I wish you all the very best for the future. Here’s a few pics. Will post more later

The News crew have been out to do an interview today whilst I’m at Cromford Steam Fair. Spare moments has a stall with all handmade items. The interview was about how I helped brides reunite with their dresses etc.

UPDATE
I have over the last week been in touch with Michelle (previous owner) who helped me on Monday to get a few dresses to the right people. I have also been in touch with Kelsey since yesterday to try and get as many brides their dresses as possible as she hadn’t filed for liquidation yet. This would have been for sample dresses that were in the shop until Sunday and were good and suitable for brides to wear. One bride knew a good sample of her dress had gone. I arranged for Kelsey to visit and discuss how this could happen. This has now gone t**s up and Kelsey has left.
Well done to all the do gooders who have nothing to do with the situation at all. All you have done is make it worse.

LA BELLE BOUTIQUE (BRIDAL BABE)
I had fittings at the shop yesterday and the shop was full. I have gone in at 9.30 this morning to do some more fittings and the shop is empty. Not sure if they couldn’t get everything in the van but I found several dresses belonging to brides. I have removed all these dresses so they are safe. It’s 1am and I’m still working and in contact with several brides doing what I can. 15 brides have collected. I have another 11 collecting and I have 8 more to still phone. Please feel free to contact me if you are a bride that has been affected by this closure. I’m in contact with other shops that can help. It’s devastating for all the brides that don’t have their dress and have lost all their money. There are a lot of good people out there so don’t give up.
