Fierce Monkey Skateboards is an environmentally conscious skateboarding apparel brand from Exeter, Devon. Our founder’s (James) journey into skateboarding first started in East Devon when the local council started opening skateparks back in the early 00’s. From there he skated passionately for six years, before having to hang up his board due to a knee injury. After not skating for 14 years, in la

te 2019 James got back on the board with his old skate crew and spent the next year or so learning all his old tricks and having a blast! Wanting to give back to the local skateboarding community, and desperate for a creative output, James started Fierce Monkey Skateboards with a vision to one day open an indoor skatepark (which is desperately needed in the area), with a café and shop, and to do it all in an environmentally conscious way. Where did the name Fierce Monkey come from? To James the name Fierce Monkey combines the p***y, aggressive side of skateboarding with the fun, playful side.
