Packing orders in 36°C 🥵

As the photos suggest, I became progressively less sensible as the afternoon went on 🙃

Thank you for all of your orders (they made it to the Post Office okay!) 💛

Hope you're coping as well as possible in the heat? 🙏🏻

Turns out 100km through the Cotswolds, including walking through the night, is actually quite a long way 🫣

Last weekend I took on the Cotswold Way Challenge - all to raise money for SeeSaw Grief Support - a brilliant Oxfordshire charity supporting children and young people when someone close to them dies.

The challenge was tougher than I expected (my knees and feet can confirm this), but I'm so happy to have completed it 👏🏻

And thanks to the incredible generosity of so many people, we've raised over £1,100 so far 🎉

SeeSaw's work is particularly close to my heart. When my mum died when I was young, support like this would have meant a great deal to me.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, shared, encouraged or followed along 🙏🏻

If you'd like to know more about SeeSaw, hear about the challenge, or support their work, just send me a DM 💚

I think I'll be dreaming of a piggyback like this at some point this weekend... 😅

Instead, I'll be taking on the Cotswold Way Challenge - a continuous 100km walk with rather a lot of elevation thrown in! We're aiming to finish in under 24 hours 😬

Piggybacks aside, I'm hoping for similarly gorgeous scenery and dry (maybe even sunny!) weather 🙏🏻

When I signed up, I genuinely didn't think it would be that tough. My training has definitely proved otherwise, and if I'm honest, I'm feeling pretty nervous!

I'm raising money for SeeSaw Grief Support - a brilliant Oxfordshire charity supporting children and young people when someone close to them is terminally ill or has died. I'm supporting them because I know from my own experience how important the right support can be during bereavement.

I know I normally talk about sustainable kids' clothes, stereotypes and our Ducky Zebra journey here, but if you'd like to see how I get on, I'll try to share some updates on Stories over the weekend 🙃

Wish me luck!

What do you think made the biggest difference to the final design - 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025? 🤔

In a world of fast fashion and fast decisions, we’ve definitely bucked the trend - taking FOUR YEARS to develop our “Under the Sea” collection before launching!

We’re so proud of the result: something genuinely different (and practical), with a zip-up design that stays true to our values - child-led playful prints, free from stereotypes and made from soft organic cotton 💚

Why are girls dressed as cupcakes and boys dressed as pizza? 🤔
Once you notice it, you can't unsee it 👀

Girls' clothes are covered in strawberries, cupcakes and ice creams. Boys' clothes? Pizza, burgers and fries.

But it's not really about food.

The messages attached to those foods tell a bigger story:

🍓 Girls = sweetness, cuteness and treats
🍕 Boys = energy, adventure and action

Research has found these patterns across children's clothing, reinforcing the gender stereotypes children absorb every day.

It might seem like a tiny detail, but children are constantly taking in cues about who they're expected to be.

Have you noticed the gendered food divide on kids' clothes before? 👇

We have some exciting news... 🎉
Our Highland Pals collection has been shortlisted for Best Unisex Fashion Collection in the Junior Design Awards 2026!

Inspired by the wild beauty of the Scottish Highlands, the collection celebrates friendship, adventure and the freedom of outdoor play 💚

We launched nearly five years ago, after growing frustrated by the messages children’s clothing often send - pink, cute and pretty for girls; blue, adventurous and heroic for boys.

We wanted to create playful, child-led designs that challenged these stereotypes and opened up opportunities, rather than closing them down.👌🏻

So to have this collection recognised by feels pretty amazing! 🙏🏻

A huge thank you to the JDA team, to for her amazing talent and creativity and to our wonderful community (that’s YOU!) for cheering us on every step of the way 💕

We're keeping everything crossed for the next round and wishing everyone else who's been shortlisted lots of luck too! 💛

I hadn't really realised how much happened in May until I put this carousel together 🙃

There was a 6am start for Oxford May Day, our first event of the year, lots of walking, a wedding anniversary, festival weekends, stock checks and a holiday where I actually switched my out-of-office on for the first time in three years!

A busy month, but a good one👌🏻

I hope you had a lovely May too 💛

Thank you for following along and supporting our business 🙏🏻
