I started Ducky Zebra after growing frustrated with the stereotypes I kept seeing on children’s clothing.

I wanted to create something different. Clothes that didn’t tell children who they should be - but gave them the freedom to explore who they are.

A few years on, and one of the most rewarding parts of running Ducky Zebra isn’t just the clothes themselves - it’s the families who choose them 💚

I went down a bit of a rabbit hole this week...
I asked two AI tools what a typical unisex baby outfit looks like, and their answers were surprisingly similar.
Lots of beige, cream, oatmeal and muted tones.

It got me thinking about how algorithms learn from the world around them - and what happens when "unisex" gets reduced to a colour palette.

I'd love to know what you think after reading this one.
Are bright colours still seen as less "unisex"? 🌈
