Hello, my name is Jo and I am a newly qualified non-medical maternity nurse. For the past two years, on a monthly basis, I provide tailored baby massage sessions for an Oxford charity SSNAP, supporting sick babies, newborns & their parents.I have experience working with parents and prem babies who have spent their early lives at the Special Care Baby Unit at the John Radcliffe hospital.

I also run baby massage and baby yoga classes https://jojobaby.co.uk/ in various locations around Oxfordshire. This gives me the opportunity to support new parents in a wonderful calming class.

The training organisation I obtained my maternity qualification of which I received a Distinction, is called NEST, a fully accredited course approved by OCN. NEST have created a work experience programme for new parents who need an extra pair of hands during those first few weeks. It means that I can offer my support to work with newborns either for no cost or for a very small fee if the family are able to do so. Travel, accommodation and food would need to be covered by the parent with a reference for my work at the end of the booking.

If this is something that would appeal to you or someone you know, please do get in touch so that I can discuss this in more detail. I have an enhanced DBS, insurance, contactable references and paediatric first aid certificate.

We're very much looking forward to Jo from Jojo Baby Massage 👶coming to our Baby & Me Group next Tuesday 8th October!

Jo is kindly holding a FREE taster session of baby massage and baby yoga at our group and we'd love for you to come along!

Our Baby & Me Group is held from 10-11:30am at Great Western Park District Community Centre (opposite side of the road from Asda), OX11 6GR. The group is for parents and their babies aged 15 months and under.
