Colour Intuition Test! ❤️

The OGs will know this one! This gown was created for Helena Bonham Carter. It wasn’t the dress she wore in the end (she wore another of mine though!) but what a surreal joy to try her in this and to see her prancing up and down her hallway in it, to see the way it moved and flowed 💃

Is your body larger than the mannequin?

Quite a few people are! It’s Absolutely nothing to worry about!

Padding the stand: a traditional practise where we create a ‘body’ in studio using photographs and a whole load of measurements. This allows us to drape, shape, and create patterns. It’s particularly helpful for those clients who aren’t able to attend any in person fittings ❤️

A conversation last week had me thinking about all of my amazing brides I’ve worked with, and how I try to make sure their needs are met ❤️

Im using The Painted Bunny as my poster girl. Her dress was a gorgeous favourite, and the photos by Adam Bird were everything. Stunning crown by Immy Howard Millinery ❤️
