Good morning! We’re slowly getting back in to routine here at the shop and I thought that there’s no time like the present to say hello!

I’m Catherine, owner of The Italian Handbag Company based in Watlington, Oxfordshire. We have a physical shop on the High Street located amongst an array of owner-operated independent businesses.

I’ve always had a love for Italy - the food, the language and the style. Whilst on holiday in Sicily a few years ago, I spotted a gorgeous orange bag which sparked an idea in my mind. Fast forward a few years and here we are! Every one of the leather handbags and the leather purses and wallets are hand-selected from my suppliers in Florence, who produce the goods from Italian leather in their own workshops.
