Time for a small business shoutout. I ordered these lovely items to gift to my 11 year old who starts her SATS today. She’s super anxious about them, so this fabulous Worry Gobbler pin from was just perfect! It’s gone into school today on her mascot. Hopefully he’ll be nice and fat by the end of the week and she’ll have had a relaxed set of exams!

The card and star pin are from The pin is as a little thank you to her wonderful teacher who has gone above and beyond to help all of her students this year. She’s one of those teachers you wish you could clone and take with you each year!

Hope all of you with Year 6 children in your lives find this week stress free (with the help of Worry Gobblers where necessary!)

Welcome to May! The month with no school… (or so it feels!) What else do we have to look forward to?

👑 Time to celebrate a new King coming to the thrown.

🌸 A chance to enjoy the cutest day of the year - May Day dances. When odd shoes fly off into the crowds, maypole ribbons get tangled and little girls drag little boys through bridges of little hands.

🎶 Eurovision - in the UK!

🍩 Enjoy a doughnut. Yep - National Doughnut Week starts on the 20th May. I’ve heard all calories consumed that week just don’t count. You’re welcome.

🐝 World Bee Day - 20th May

🍪 Yep - National Biscuit Day. And the best bit? It falls during half term! Go help yourselves kiddies! Let’s celebrate those biscuits!

Oh… and in our house. The most exciting thing Guardians of the Galaxy 3 comes to the cinema!!!! 🍿

So many new followers this last week! Hello! 👋

It’s been a while now since I last did a ‘who I am’ and explained why Rockahoot is here. Thought now was a good time to do so…

I’m Leigh, mummy to 3 little girls. All very different and making their own unique marks on the world. 🎭 🐴 ⚽️

4 years ago, Rockahoot was born. I mean - 3 girls meant a heap of hair accessories in the house! The idea of being able to create accessories which are unique to a child - what they love or the outfit they are wearing - excites me. The ability to be able to shop for new fabrics and comfortably buy them guilt free as it’s “work” also makes me happy!

I hope that you all enjoy browsing what has now become a huge range. If you’ve a theme in mind that I don’t currently seem to have - please drop me a message and set me a challenge!

4 months now until the Woman’s World Cup. Hands up who’s excited?! 🙌🏻

I’ve 3 little Rockahooters in the house who can’t wait. One in particular (check out that muddy ball in the photo!) who loves nothing more than a good kick about.
