The 1st of June already! I’ve just delivered a wedding gallery and the amount of unscripted, unprompted and genuine moments captured made me so happy when I pressed that send button.

When you choose a wedding photographer, you want your day captured, when you walk down the aisle, say ‘I Do’ the confetti moments and photos with your nearest and dearest.

However, you’ll ALWAYS get sent photos you didn’t ask for, like the tears of loved ones sat watching you get married. Or the gentle hand holds during speeches. And yes, I’ll capture your guest having just dropped the confetti before it’s due to be thrown but goodness me, this is all part of your day!

So book the wedding photographer (obviously me!) and get ready for the photos you didn’t ask for 🥰

A week ago, I photographed a very special wedding in Wales for a dear friend, marrying his partner and making her his wife.

The day was filled with nothing but smiles, laughter and love. Seeing old friends, friends who came out to my own wedding in Las Vegas 12 years ago and meeting new people was just the tonic I needed.

I often get asked, ‘what’s the best thing about photographing weddings?’ The list is a large one because you’re taking photos on the happiest day of a couple’s life and their family and friends are all on cloud 9. But something I think about EVERY wedding when I’m looking down the lens, is this image, or images like it.

Your wedding photo is an heirloom. It’s what ties generations together. It’s part of your family tree and taking your wedding photo is one of the greatest joys of my life.

I’ll never take this job for granted and I can’t thank my couples enough for choosing me to help create heirlooms for your family 🤍
